[News] Grand Festival Announced! (Splatoon 3)

Nintendo has just announced the last? Splatfest!

source: x.com/NintendoAUNZ

Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the last? Splatfest for Splatoon 3. It is a very special Splatfest with it being called the "Grand festival". For this, it seems all three idol groups are against each other taking one option each. The question being asked for this is "Which is the most important to you?". The three options are past (Squid Sisters), present (Off the Hook), or future (Deep Cut). The Splatfest will be available for 72 hours rather than the usual 48. It will start Friday the 13th of September @ 01:00 am until Monday the 16th of September @ 00:59 am

We don't know much about the fest itself but it's safe to assume it will have all the same things as a special Splatfest and more. In the trailer, we do get to see the three idol groups in special costumes, as well as hear a new collab song between the three idol groups. However, that's pretty much all we can pick from it. If you would like to see the trailer for this Splafest you can do so here.

They will also be releasing these new amiibo for Off the Hook and the Squid Sisters to celebrate the fest. They will be launching on September 5th worldwide. The obtained gear for these is currently unknown.

The voting for this could go any way really. I feel like many will bypass the question and vote for their favorite idol group, which is valid. I will most likely be going with the present as I think we should all live in the now and take each day as it comes. Though the other two options are strong too, the past is what has shaped us and the future is what we hope to be. Previous grand festivals have influenced the next game in the series, so it will be interesting to see how and if this one does the same.

That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[Thoughts] Will Tears of the Kingdom have DLC?

DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. Breath of the Wild had an expansion pass with 3 waves of content. Looking at the contents of that could give us an idea about what a Tears of the Kingdom expansion pass could look like. The first wave (Expansion pass purchase bonus) was available at the games launch and included the following: - 3 new treasure chests This was a very small wave featuring 3 chests of goodies. The biggest thing from this was a Nintendo Switch shirt link could wear. It was a nice little extra to start the game off with but definitely not the defining content of the pass. Moving on, The second wave (DLC pack 1) offered a lot more in terms of content, with it offering these following things: - Trail of the Sword - Master mode - Heroes path mode.  This wave offered many things to test the players skill...

[Thoughts] The Best Outfits For EVE In Stellar Blade

Stellar blade sure has some stellar outfits! Stellar blade has so much choice for outfits and they are all pretty cool. I constantly found myself changing outfits in Stellar Blade throughout my story playthrough. However, today I want to count down my top 5 outfits in the game. I will not be including the ones released as DLC in this, it's purely what was in the game on day 1. I will be showing both versions of each type as well, and stating which I prefer out the two (If it has two versions). 5. Junk Mechanic/Junk Engineer source: www.youtube.com/@IGN To start with, this is my fifth favourite outfit type for EVE. This is probably the most complex and weird design of the bunch. This spot was very close between this and another but funky design of this one just edged it out. Some of the features I like of this one are the asymmetrical nature and the belt pack. The asymmetrical nature is easily seen all over this outfit type. It makes it quite the eye catcher. The belt pack, for lack...

[Thoughts] Post Game Content Is Awesome!

Post game content is something I greatly  appreciate in games ~Intro ~ Many games over the years have included post game content, it's a way to give more content to players who really enjoyed their time with the main game and were left wanting a little more. Sometimes it is in the form of a few bonus missions, while other times epilogue stories can happen. I will now give some examples of good post game content and discuss what makes them good. ~Dark  Chronicle~ The post game for this game is quite big. After the main story you follow the main character on another small adventure to a place called the Zelmite Mine. This mysterious mine is huge, forming the biggest dungeon in the game by quite a bit. This Dungeon even has multiple mini bosses, one of which being fairly important to the narrative. While the dungeon does require a little bit of grinding to be able to get through it, it isn't too bad and I never found myself having...
