[News] Resident Evil's Leon S. Kennedy Gets A Nendoroid!

A cool figure of Leon will be coming soon source:  www.goodsmile.info/en Over on Twitter, Goodsmile have just announced that Leon will be coming to the Resident Evil line up of Nendoroids. The figure itself will not be coming out until June of 2024 but you can pre order now. You have from today until the 25th of January to pre order this figure. The price of this figure is 7,200 yen, so roughly £40 . You can go here to pre order the figure. Here is what you will get with this figure: Face plates - Calm face and Combat face Optional parts - Handgun, Knife, Attache case and Other optional parts for different poses. There are some cool parts you get with this figure, I like that it comes with the attach case. I am thinking about getting one myself for sure. Leon is my favourite Resident Evil character after all. I think this is great merch for any Resident Evil fan though. Nendoroids are high quality figures and £40 isn't too high for the quality you get. If they were to do another

[News] F-Zero 99 Gets Another Update!

F-Zero 99 will be getting some more content soon  source:  www.nintendo.co.uk Over on Twitter, Nintendo have made a post telling us about this new update and what it will feature. We knew we had gotten the last of the courses but they did say more was coming to the game. I thought it was going to be a bit longer before we saw what this meant but now we know. The things that will be added are a classic race mode and lucky rank rewards . We are unsure of what exactly the two things mentioned mean but they sound like they could be a nice little addition to the game. The update will be arriving tomorrow November 29th so we will know for sure soon. If I had to guess what both mean, then maybe you could be able to play the game in the originals visuals for the "classic race mode" and get some more customisation things through the lucky rank rewards. Though the "classic race mode" could also be a single player mode against CPUs but I heavily doubt that. I will be checkin

[Thoughts] Mario Kart Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 6

Wave 6 of the booster course pass has been out for some time now, so let's talk about it source:  www.nintendo.co.uk Now that I have played the tracks a few times I will give my full thoughts on this wave. This wave I will outright say is the best wave overall, which is what I expected for the final wave. My favourite tracks from this wave are Bowser Castle 3 and Wii Rainbow Road. Bowser Castle 3 definitely got a glow up not just for visuals but it's track design. The coolest addition was the fact you can ride on some walls, this is quite tricky to do, but it is rewarding. It overall just feels like such a different, and much better, course. Unsurprisingly the music is great for the stage as well. Wii Rainbow Road was guaranteed to be one of the best in the wave. Some people were worried about if they were going to make it a continuous track rather than looping like the original but we got it exactly as it was from Wii. Since it is 1 to 1 with the original, all the cool parts o

[News] Jet Force Gemini Coming To Nintendo Switch Online!

Another game for switch online is coming soon source:  twitter.com/NintendoUK Over on Twitter, Nintendo have just announced that Jet Force Gemini is the next game to join the switch online roster. This game will be playable on the Nintendo 64 app. This does mean that you will need the expansion pass subscription to play it. Nintendo haven't given an exact date for when this game will be added, rather, they just stated it will be coming December. Jet Force Gemini is a third person shooter game made by Rare. There is both a single player and a multiplayer. With Nintendo online people will be able to play the multiplayer online. You can play this with 2-4 players. Death matches are what the multiplayer is similar to golden eye and many other shooter games. So, if you like shooter's or Rare's unique flair, then give this game a go for sure. Reviews for this game seem mostly positive, with the controls being a bit of a negative point. I would try it myself but I don't have t

[News] Sonic Dream Team's Opening Animation Now Viewable!

You can watch the opening for this upcoming game now Source:  twitter.com/sonic_hedgehog Over on Twitter, Sonic the Hedgehog's official page has just tweeted out the opening animation for the upcoming mobile title Sonic Dream Team. The video for this animation can be found on YouTube here . As a reminder this game is coming December 5th. Pre registrations are now open for the game too, so you can get ready for the launch. Pre registration can be done here . This game does look quite cool from what we have seen, however, the big issue is that it's not only a mobile game, but also exclusive to Apple Arcade. It's such a shame that it will only be on that platform, hopefully, they decide to release it to the google play store as well sometime down the line. That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[News] November's Splatfest Now On!

Pick your team and splat it out! Source: twitter.com/NintendoEurope Another Splatfest is upon us. This Splatfest, about which greeting is your go to, was announced on 8th of November on Twitter. The choices for this Splatfest are, handshake, fist bump and hug. As usual, this event runs for two full days (18th @ 12am - 19th @ 11:59pm), with the tri colour battles starting on the second day. The tri-colour stage this time is Manta Maria. This stage is already a good stage but it looks like it will be even better for tri colour. Many have said how this could be the best tri colour map we have gotten yet. I suppose we will see how good it is when we can play on it ourselves. It does look very promising though from the data mines which is nice, since last time the tri colour stage was not very good. From looking at polls on Twitter and YouTube, I think it's safe to say fist bump is the most popular, followed by  hug, then least popular is hand shake. It appears that fist bump will most

[News] Chill Season 2023 Is Inkoming!

The Latest Splatoon 3 season is coming soon source:  twitter.com/NintendoUK Nintendo  has just  uploaded  a new video, on YouTube, showcasing what's in store for the latest  seasonal  update. This season, that starts December 1st, seems to be jam packed with content just like the  previous  ones. This video is quite different to the other videos before it with it being very stylised and less focused on giving direct information. Due to this, we don't know everything that will be in this update exactly. I will give my best guess as to what is in the update based on what we see. Here is what we can expect from the update: - 2 Stages (Robo ROM-en & Bluefin Depot) - At Least 8 Additional Weapon Kits  - New Special Weapon (Splattercolor screen) - New Boss Salmonid - New Table turf Cards (not seen but safely assumed)  - New locker items (Don't think we see any but safely assumed) - New Gear Pieces  - New Challenges (Not seen but can be assumed) - New Music (The music we hea

[News] The Game Awards 2023 Nominees Announced!

TGA have just announced all the nominees for this years game awards show source:  twitter.com/thegameawards Over on Twitter, The Game Awards have just announced the nominees  for the different categories at this years show. Just to let you know, this show will be live on the 7th of December 2023 . All of the winners will be announced then but for now I will go through the game of the year nominees here. If you want to see all the nominees for the different awards go here . Game of the year nominees: - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Resident Evil 4 Remake - Alan Wake 2 - Baldur's Gate 3 - Marvel's Spider Man 2 For me, my game of the year is Tears of the Kingdom, but they are all very good choices here. I am surprised Resident Evil 4 made it on this line up, as remakes don't usually count in this category from what I know. As for who I think will win, that goes to Baldur's Gate 3. There has been a lot of positive buzz around that ga

[News] God Of War: Ragnarök Gets A Fun Mishaps Video For It's Anniversary

This video includes some behind the scenes footage of the games development source:  www.youtube.com/@PlayStation Over on YouTube, Sony's official channel has posted a 3 and a half minute video of development footage for God Of War  Ragnarök . You can see all types of stuff here, from heads staying in place to bodies stretching, it's a good laugh. As well as that though, just seeing development footage like this is really cool. Not many companies will share this with people so seeing it at all is awesome. Even people who haven't played the game but are interested in game development could get something out of this. You can watch this great video here . There is also another mishaps video for the God Of War 2018 game, so if you haven't seen that one or would like to watch it again you can here . That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[News] Latest Splatfest Announced!

Nintendo have just announced November's splatfest theme! source:  twitter.com/NintendoUK Over on twitter, Nintendo has just posted the details of the next splatfest for Splatoon 3. This time it is about which your go to greeting is. The three options being, Handshake (Shiver), Fist Bump (Frye) or Hug (Big man). The splatfest will be available from  Saturday the 18th of November @ 12 am until Sunday the 19th of November @ 11:59 pm . Something else to note is that the Japanese splatfest is different. This is the first time they have done this in Splatoon 3. For Japan it seems to be about some type of food and what you call it. This is an interesting theme for a splatfest though. I don't think there is necessarily a dominant favourite here, however, I think fist bump will actually come out on top for votes. I think it will go, fist bump, then hug, then handshake in terms of votes. Hugs and handshakes are a lot more specific I feel, with them being more reserved for whom you give t

[News] Live Action Zelda Movie Announced!

We will be getting a Zelda movie in the form of live action source :  www.nintendo.co.uk Over on Twitter, Nintendo's Miyamoto has announced that Zelda will be receiving a live action movie. According to Miyamoto, this movie has been in the works for many years now, though this doesn't really give us a hint to when it will release. As of now there is no release date which makes sense as we haven't even gotten a trailer yet. Miyamoto says himself it will "take some time" so we could be looking at a late 2024 release at the earliest. The movie is being produced by not only Miyamoto but also  Avi Arad (Spider-Man movies). While the Director for this movie is Wes Ball ( Maze Runner movies). Miyamoto states that Nintendo itself are heavily involved with this movie which gives me some hope it will be good. Knowing this I am cautiously optimistic for this movie but the fact it is live action is a bit disappointing for me personally. Here's to hoping they can pull it o

[Review] Super Mario Bros. Wonder

A nearly, fully wonderful experience source:  www.nintendo.co.uk ~ Intro ~ Super Mario Bros Wonder is Nintendo's newest take on Mario's 2D platforming games. It is quite a change from the New Super Mario Bros series, bringing in many new features and mechanics as well as overhaling the visuals. This game launched worldwide on October 20th 2023 and I have been playing it since release. I have manged to complete the main game and gather 4 of the completion medals, with only the final level left to do. With that being the case, I am more than confident to give my opinions on this game now.  ~ Positives ~ To start off the positives lets talk about the gameplay. The game takes Mario across several worlds filled with levels to eventually get to Bowser. This is your typical 2D Mario fare however the mechanics and additions that have been made are what make it stand out. As well as standard levels you can play badge challenges. These give Mario badges which grant him an ability used

[News] The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk coming December!

Nintendo have just randomly dropped the date this DLC will be launching source:  twitter.com/Pokemon Over on Twitter, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have just tweeted out the date this DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will be released. The 14th of December is the exact date players will be able to experience the second part of this DLC. No further information has been given about it's contents though. There is still more than a month before it releases so they will probably tell us more nearer the time. From what we know so far this seems to be the more important half of the DLC with a bigger scope than the first. The first DLC seemed to be received with fairly average reviews, so hopefully this improves on that. There is most likely not going to be any performance fixes or anything so sadly that will still plague the experience. That said, hopefully the information we receive before launch paints a good picture for the other aspects of this expansion. That's it for this bl
