[News] Three More Titles Available To Play For Switch Online Members!

More games are now available for switch online owners source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on Twitter, Nintendo have announced that  three more games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 2 NES games and one Gameboy game. The NES games included in this update are The Mysterious Murasame Castle and DEVIL WORLD. As for the Gameboy game, that is Castlevania Legends. The two apps for these games do not require the expansion pass tier so anyone with a subscription can enjoy these. The update with these games is live today (31st October 2023). DEVIL WORLD is a maze game, so if you like those games such as Pac-Man then this could be a fun little experience for you. This game does also have co-op so you can experience it with a friend. The Mysterious Murasame Castle is an action adventure game similar to Zelda. As a big Zelda fan I will most likely be giving this one a try for sure and I recommend other Zelda fans to do so as well. Lastly, Castlevania legends is actually n

[News] October's Special Splatfest Now On!

Pick your team and splat it out! Source: twitter.com/NintendoEurope Another splatfest is upon us. This Special Halloween Splatfest, about which one would be the best friend, was announced on Friday the 13th on Twitter. The choices for this splatfest are, zombie, skeleton and ghost. As usual, this event runs for two full days (28th @ 1am - 30th @ 12am), with the tri colour battles starting on the second day. Nintendo have made a lot of cool little changes to this fest to really make it feel like a Halloween one. From the idols wearing outfits to additional Halloween themed music it really is a spooktastic fest. The tri-colour stage this time is Brinewater Springs. Many people, including myself, don't like this stage too much and sadly they barely seem to change anything with this new layout. Hopefully it turns out fine with the few additions there are. I was kind of hoping for a unique map for this fest like the Zelda one having a triforce map. It's okay though because the map

[News] Mario Party 3 Is Coming To Switch Online!

Another game for switch online is coming soon  source:  twitter.com/NintendoUK Over on Twitter, Nintendo have just announced that  Mario Party 3 is coming to switch online. This game is a N64 game so it will be available on the N64 app. This does mean you will need the Switch Online Expansion Pack to play it. The update with this game will drop on the 27th of October.  Mario Party 3 is a great addition to the line up. The fact that it will have online co-op is a big change. Essentially though, Mario Party is about moving your character around a board with dice rolls, with the aim of collecting Stars. The player with the most stars at the end wins, it really is that simple. The most fun aspects to Mario Party games though are the mini games. Mario Party 3 offers a total of 71 mini games for players to enjoy. Something to note about this game as well, is that, it was the first Mario Party game to feature a story mode. Make sure you give this a try too it's a good way to practice th

[Thoughts] Post Game Content Is Awesome!

Post game content is something I greatly  appreciate in games ~Intro ~ Many games over the years have included post game content, it's a way to give more content to players who really enjoyed their time with the main game and were left wanting a little more. Sometimes it is in the form of a few bonus missions, while other times epilogue stories can happen. I will now give some examples of good post game content and discuss what makes them good. ~Dark  Chronicle~ The post game for this game is quite big. After the main story you follow the main character on another small adventure to a place called the Zelmite Mine. This mysterious mine is huge, forming the biggest dungeon in the game by quite a bit. This Dungeon even has multiple mini bosses, one of which being fairly important to the narrative. While the dungeon does require a little bit of grinding to be able to get through it, it isn't too bad and I never found myself having to grind for too long. What's cool about this

[News] F-Zero 99 Gets It's Second Update!

F-Zero 99 is now on it's second update source:  www.youtube.com/@falconschannel6668 Over on Twitter, Nintendo official accounts have just announced that F-Zero 99 will be receiving an update. This update will include the King League. We will be seeing 3 more tracks added to the game as part of this King League. One of the mentioned tracks is Fire Field, though we are unsure of the rest. This update will go live tomorrow for the UK (19th of October). I didn't expect the first update so fast so seeing this second update come out now is quite interesting. It's not even been a month since the last update. Nintendo have stated in their tweet that these are the last new tracks though. They did also say that there will be further updates too though. Who knows what they will bring. It is a bit sad that these are the last tracks but it's good they didn't go the route of adding like one track every update. If the future updates aren't very substantial we could see this

[News] Latest Splatfest Announced! (Splatoween)

Nintendo have just announced October's splatfest theme! source:  twitter.com/NintendoUK Over on twitter, Nintendo has just posted the details of the next splatfest for Splatoon 3. This time it is a special Halloween splatfest titled "Splatoween". It puts 3 creepy monsters against each other asking you which of them would be the best friend to have. The three options being, Zombie (Shiver), Skeleton (Frye) or Ghost (Big man). The splatfest will be available from  Saturday the 28th of October @ 1 am until Monday the 30th of October @ 12 am .  This splatfest has a few extra things to it as well. This includes, both Inkopolis and Splatsville being spookily decorated, Deep cut and the Squid Sisters having special outfits and special Halloween themed gear being made available for players to wear. No details have been given on when these new gear pieces will be available yet though. We will find out most likely nearer the time.  All teams I think have a decently even footing. Ea

[Thoughts] Sonic Superstars Is Sounding Good!

You can now check out several tracks from the game's ost on Sonic's official  YouTube channel In the lead up to the game's release Sonic's official YouTube channel has been dropping tracks from the game's ost. For every sonic game release this always happens as they like to give fans a taste of the music in the upcoming game. Since Sonic music is always usually very good, it's a good marketing strategy to build the hype. So far we have received a single track for Pinball Carnival Zone and three tracks for the Speed Jungle Zone. From what I have heard I am very happy with the soundtrack so far. What is quite different about this classic style game is that each act has a different composer from what it looks like. This is really nice for diversity because sometimes act 1's and act 2's sounded so similar. Whichever you liked a bit more just made it somewhat pointless to listen to the other. So far, the artists known to be involved with the soundtrack are  R

There is no image provided for this. Those are all the main UK stores offering pre-order bonuses. For best price, get the game from Hit (Hit.co.uk). For best bonus, I would personally go with the lanyard from GAME. Though, as always, it's up to you as there are many factors that come into play for were you shop. As a reminder,

[Thoughts] Sonic Frontiers Final Horizon Update

A better ending but with plenty of faults accompanying it source:  www.youtube.com/@BeardBear The final update for Sonic Frontiers just came out a few days ago. This update brings a whole new ending section to explore another way the story could have gone. This alternate path can be played as soon as you get to Ouranos island but it is recommended you play it after beating the normal ending. I have now completed this updates main contents, so I am now able to give my full opinion on it. ~ Positives ~ Let's start by talking about the positives. Firstly, something you see very early is an improvement to the narrative. No more do Sonic's friends sacrifice their digital beings and magically revive sonic. Now you actually have to play as them and help sonic break his corruption another way. This gave me a sense of urgency the main game lacked. It felt more like a final area with quite a bit at steak, especially with the looming presence of the end. I also liked the sweeter ending to
