[News] New Trailer Drops For Splatoon 3's Expansion Pass!

Wave 2 Finally gets a release date! source:  twitter.com/NintendoUK Over on Twitter, Nintendo have just uploaded a new small trailer for Splatoon 3's expansion pass. The trailer itself is 1 minute and 12 seconds and you can watch it here . The trailer doesn't show much but it gives us something very important.. the release date! Wave 2 (Side Order) will be available to play from the 22nd of February. That is less then a month away from now, much sooner than most expected. This came out of nowhere, I thought this would be saved for the rumoured February direct but I guess they have more plans for that now. This along with the Peach trailer coming out somewhat randomly make me quite interested in what will actually be at that direct. I really can't wait to play this as I am a huge Splatoon fan and have been very excited for this since it's announcement. That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[News] New Princess Peach: Showtime! Trailer Goes Live

This trailer shows off a bunch of her transformations in the game source:  twitter.com/NintendoEurope Over on Twitter, Nintendo have just tweeted out a new trailer for the Princess Peach: Showtime! game. The trailer itself is 1 minute and 20 seconds long and you can find it here . It features many of the transformations we have seen before but also a new ninja and cow girl transformation. Though we don't see too much of these. The game is available for pre order so if you are excited for this game you can go ahead and secure a copy. As a reminder, the game will release on March 22nd. The games variety continues to be the main pull for me. I am not 100% sold yet, but I am very close to being sold. It just seems like such a fun time. I wonder how much more they will show now before release. That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[Review] Super Mario RPG (Switch)

A good introduction to Mario RPGs source:  www.nintendo.co.uk Super Mario RPG is the first entry in the Mario RPG series. It is a turn based RPG set in the Mario world. The original version of the game came out back in 1996, but today I am reviewing the Remake of the game that arrived November 17th 2023. I hadn't played the original so I can't do a comparison but I can look at it from the perspective of someone who has played the other Mario RPGs and compare how I think this new remake stacks up to those. This title, unlike the other Mario RPG's, is actually a collab between Nintendo and Square Enix. This is a collab I would love to see again for a different kind of project for sure as i like many games from both these companies. ~ Positives ~ Let's start by talking about the positives. To start with, let's just talk about how fun the game is generally. The combat is very easy to get into and satisfying, especially when you are able to time the hits correctly. I hav

[News] Januarys Special Splatfest Now On! (Frosty Fest)

Pick your team and splat it out! Source: twitter.com/NintendoEurope Another Splatfest is upon us. This Special Holiday Splatfest, about how you spend the holidays, was first announced on November 29th on Twitter. The choices for this Splatfest are, with friends, with family and solo. As usual, this event runs for two full days (January 13th @ 00:00 - January 15th 0:00), with the tri colour battles starting on the second day. Many cool additions and changes just like the Halloween Splatfest have been made to many parts of the games visuals and audio. From the idols wearing outfits to additional Holiday themed music it really is a festive fest. The tri-colour stage this time is Crableg Capital. This is one of the new stages which many people including myself like a lot. I am sure it will be a great tri colour map. I am unsure of the actual layout though as it wasn't datamined at the time of writing this. I do wonder when or if they will ever do a special Splatfest stage like the tri

[News] Two More Titles Are Being Added To Nintendo Switch Online

Two requested games are finally coming source:  twitter.com/NintendoUK Over on Twitter, Nintendo have announced that  two more games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. Both of these games are from the GBA and thus will be accessible on the GBA app. These games being Golden Sun and Golden Sun The Lost Age. Since these are on the GBA app you will need the expansion tier to play them. The update with these games will go live next week (17th Jan 2024). I have played both these games myself and I think they are pretty good even with their flaws. The Lost Age is slightly better in my opinion but both games are very charming and unique. I normally don't like turn based rpgs too much but these were just that fun. The djinn system made battles more interesting and the animations for a GBA game are absolutely amazing. As these are rpg games they are a time investment but I for any rpg fan it's definitely worth it. These games also had a cool little thing about them, where you could tr

[Review] God Of War Ragnarök: Valhalla

Kratos isn't done yet! source:  https://blog.playstation.com/ This free DLC update came out 12th December 2023. It brought along a whole new epilogue story. This new epilogue story has a separate section on the main menu screen which you use to access it. You can play it any time but it contains spoilers for the main game so I wouldn't play it until after beating the main game. The gameplay for this is rogue like so it isn't the same type of gameplay as the base game. This allows you to get lots of replay value out of it. The game encourages you to do multiple playthroughs to see all the DLC has to offer. I have now completed this update and got all the trophies for it, so I am now able to give my full opinion on it. ~ Positives ~ Let's start by talking about the positives. To start with, the amount of stuff you get here for free is very respectable. They could have easily charged a fee for this DLC but they didn't. I would have happily paid a small fee for the amou
