[Thoughts] Ports I Would Like To See On The Next Nintendo Console

My picks for future ports With Nintendo's next console in the distance I would like to talk about some of my hopes for this console. In this article I will be discussing 3 (technically 4) ports I would like to see at some time during the next consoles lifetime. For me, these are my most wanted ports, but there are other ports that I would like to see too. Something to note is that these are in no particular order and I generally would like to see them equally. ~ Xenoblade Chronicles X ~ Source: https://www.nintendo.co.uk/ This port is one I thought we would see on the switch for sure. I am somewhat glad we didn't though because I feel like visually there wouldn't have been much difference. With more power we would be able to experience this game in a much better way. I would want this port to add in many of features the definitive edition of Xenoblade Chronicles did. One of my biggest problems with the game was the map screen, hopefully this gets addressed too. I have also

[News] Stellar Blade Getting A Demo!

Get a taste of this upcoming game! Source:  twitter.com/PlayStationUK Over on X, PlayStation have just announced that a demo for Stellar Blade will be coming soon. The exact time this demo will be dropping is on Friday, March 29th @ 2pm GMT. The demo is said to cover the opening moments of the game up until the first boss. Save data from the demo will carry over to the full game, so you can get a bit of a head start by playing this demo. There is also supposedly a "little surprise" awaiting people who finish this demo. This demo was actually released early the other week, Sony most likely wanted to wait a little closer to the date for it to be available as they pulled it off the store very quickly. It's not too long before this game comes out now though. As a reminder, April 26th is when this game will be releasing worldwide. So, if the demo intrigues you, there is still some time to get in a pre order to get some extras with the game. That's it for this blog, stay co

[News] Splatfest Now On! (March 2024)

Pick your team and splat it out!   Source: twitter.com/SplatoonNA Another Splatfest is upon us. This Splatfest, about which instrument you would play, was first announced on February 29th on Twitter. The choices for this Splatfest are, drums (Shiver), guitar (Frye) and keyboard (Big Man). As usual, this event runs for two full days (March 23rd @ 00:00 - March 24th @ 23:59), with the tri colour battles starting on the second day. source: twitter.com/OatmealDome The tri-colour stage this time is Flounder Heights. The layout for it adds some new sections which are used for the defenders to spawn in. It also removes the flank route to the sides of the stage. I think it could be a decent tri colour stage. Last time I thought it was going to be a great stage though with blue fin and I was proven very wrong. That stage was so unbalanced in the end. I can't see this one ending up like that though. Hopefully this time we get a fun experience with tri colour with this stage. From looking at

[News] Summer Game Fest 2024 Gets A Date!

Game announcements incoming! Source:  twitter.com/geoffkeighley Over on Twitter, Geoff Keighley has just informed us that, to no ones surprise, Summer Game Fest will return this year. June 7th is the date it will be happening. It will take place live in the YouTube theatre in Los Angeles. A stream of the show will also be accessible on multiple platforms, so anyone can view the event. Tickets for the show go live from May 7th. Other than that, there is no further information for the event yet. Summer Game Fest usually isn't that interesting, there have been a few cool things come from it but it's never felt E3 level. With all the major gaming companies having their own shows now there isn't much point to show new stuff at SGF, so the show by default won't have any major announcements. Who knows though, this year could feature a bunch of cool smaller things and turn out pretty decent. We won't know for sure until it happens. That's it for this blog, stay connecte

Another LEGO collab for Nintendo! source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on Twitter, Nintendo have just announced a new collab with LEGO. This time it's going to be LEGO x Mario Kart. The small teaser video on the twitter post gives us a a look at one of the karts coming to this collab which is the standard kart. Other than that all we know is it is coming sometime in 2025. This seems like it could be quite a cool collab. Hopefully they bring in some of the more interesting karts to this rather than just a bunch of the basic ones. I would love to see some of the bikes, especially the Bone Rattler. Some of them could be much harder to do and not really be feasible though. I guess we will see what they choose to do next year. That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[Review] Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways (DLC Expansion)

Ada gets her time to shine! source:  www.xbox.com Ever since Resident Evil 4 Remake came out, fans knew we were gonna get this at some point. Around seven months is when we would see it though and the first impression was great. This side story seemed to be much more than it was originally, which makes sense as to why we had to wait to see it. The DLC released not long after it's announcement though, on September 21st 2023. You can purchase this DLC expansion currently for £8 on Steam, Playstation store and Xbox store. Though, how did it shape up? Well I have played it several times, including a speed run of it, so I am more than confident in giving my views on it now. ~ Positives ~ It Looks Amazing - Just like the main game, to no one's surprise Separate Ways looks great visually. Not only this though, but all the new cutscenes look wonderful and are very cinematic. You can tell a lot of effort went into this game's visuals as a whole.   I also feel like the cutscenes in g
