[News] Waka From Okami Getting A New Figure!

More Okami merch is coming!
source: https://www.first4figures.com/

Over on X, First 4 Figures have just put out a post telling informing us that pre orders are now up for their upcoming Okami series figurine. The figure will be coming some time during Q2 of 2025. The figure stands at roughly 51 cm (20 inches) when on the base. There are two versions of the figurine, the standard and the DX version. The standard costs $636 while the exclusive edition costs $696. Along with the figurine there are a few bonuses you get with it, the DX version of the the figurine offering more.

Here is a list of what is included with the figurine:

Standard

  • Okami - Waka painted resin statue
  • Limited Edition Numbering
  • Authentication Card
Exclusive edition
  • All the above
  • 2 interchangeable hands (right hand holding Pillow Talk and left hand holding normal sword)
  • Pillow Talk glow in the dark feature
  • Two (2) LED functions for the water on the base (static and animated)

People who are interested in this figure can find out more here. Make sure to order as soon as if you are interested as there is a early bird offer available until April 22nd 2024 which reduces the price somewhat.

This figure looks amazing. It's nice to see more Okami merch, First 4 Figures have done quite a few for Okami before this. I am surprised they did Oki before Waka, but with that they have 3 of the most important characters from the game in figure form. The glowing features of the exclusive edition aren't really worth the extra price in my opinion, though if you are willing to spend that much on a figure then I suppose it's not much more. While this is a quality figure as all First 4 Figures are, the price is always way too high. I eagerly await for some more affordable Okami figures.

That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[Thoughts] Will Tears of the Kingdom have DLC?

DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. Breath of the Wild had an expansion pass with 3 waves of content. Looking at the contents of that could give us an idea about what a Tears of the Kingdom expansion pass could look like. The first wave (Expansion pass purchase bonus) was available at the games launch and included the following: - 3 new treasure chests This was a very small wave featuring 3 chests of goodies. The biggest thing from this was a Nintendo Switch shirt link could wear. It was a nice little extra to start the game off with but definitely not the defining content of the pass. Moving on, The second wave (DLC pack 1) offered a lot more in terms of content, with it offering these following things: - Trail of the Sword - Master mode - Heroes path mode.  This wave offered many things to test the players skill...

[Thoughts] Post Game Content Is Awesome!

Post game content is something I greatly  appreciate in games ~Intro ~ Many games over the years have included post game content, it's a way to give more content to players who really enjoyed their time with the main game and were left wanting a little more. Sometimes it is in the form of a few bonus missions, while other times epilogue stories can happen. I will now give some examples of good post game content and discuss what makes them good. ~Dark  Chronicle~ The post game for this game is quite big. After the main story you follow the main character on another small adventure to a place called the Zelmite Mine. This mysterious mine is huge, forming the biggest dungeon in the game by quite a bit. This Dungeon even has multiple mini bosses, one of which being fairly important to the narrative. While the dungeon does require a little bit of grinding to be able to get through it, it isn't too bad and I never found myself having...
