[News] Tons of Mario News For MAR10 Day!

Over on Twitter, Nintendo have just shared a video with a bunch of information about what is upcoming for the Mario franchise. The video is around 3 minutes long and you can view the video on YouTube here. 

As for what the video includes here is the full list:

- A New Mario Movie
- Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door Remaster
- Luigi's Mansion HD
- 3 New Switch Online games

For the short runtime of this video, they do reveal quite a few things here. Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion got release dates. Paper Mario being released on May 23rd and Luigi's Mansion releasing on June 27th. 
Next, the three new games coming to switch online are all Mario Game Boy games. These games being, Dr Mario, Mario Golf and Mario Tennis. These will be available very soon, on the 12th of March. 
Now, lastly, let's talk about the new Mario movie in development. With the success of the first, this comes as no surprise. It will be interesting to see what they do with this one though and what other Mario characters can be featured in it. They did also reveal a date for the movie which was surprising. The movie is said to release on April 3rd 2026.

[Thoughts] Will Tears of the Kingdom have DLC?

  DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. Breath of the Wild had an expansion pass with 3 waves of content. Looking at the contents of that could give us an idea about what a Tears of the Kingdom expansion pass could look like. The first wave (Expansion pass purchase bonus) was available at the games launch and included the following: - 3 new treasure chests This was a very small wave featuring 3 chests of goodies. The biggest thing from this was a Nintendo Switch shirt link could wear. It was a nice little extra to start the game off with but definitely not the defining content of the pass. Moving on, The second wave (DLC pack 1) offered a lot more in terms of content, with it offering these following things: - Trail of the Sword - Master mode - Heroes path mode.  This wave offered many things to test the players skill...

[Thoughts] Nintendo Direct 14/09/23
