[News] Tears of the Kingdom Link getting a figure by GoodSmile!

Awesome new Tears of the Kingdom Link figure coming next year!

source: twitter.com/GoodSmile_US

Over on X, GoodSmile have just informed us that you can start to pre order this new Zelda series figure they are making. This figure won't be arriving for a while as it will be releasing at some point in Q3 of 2025. It is a decently sized figure as it measures around 150mm (5.9 inches). Just like all GoodSmile figures, it also comes with some parts for you to be able to customise it to your desire. There are two versions of this figure with the dx version offering even more customisable parts. The standard version costs $61/64 euros while the DX version costs $116/109 euros.

Here is a list of what it comes with:

Face parts

  • Standard face
  • Shouting face
  • Smiling face

Optional Parts

  • Master Sword
  • Hylian Shield
  • Hylian Hood

DX Parts

  • Paraglider
  • Rocket
  • Rocket Effect Parts
  • Arrows
  • Construct Bow
  • Ascend Effect Parts
  • Traveller's Shield
  • Rock Hammer
  • King Rauru's Right Arm

People who are interested in this figure from the US/Canada can go here, while people from Europe can go here

Both versions of this figure definitely look more than worth the price. The DX version comes with so many cools extras for link to pose with, I love how they included the Zonai rocket in there to recreate that trailer moment. I personally think GoodSmile make the best figures for media in general, it's great how dynamic they are. I am heavily considering getting this figure myself as I am a big fan of Zelda and Tears of the Kingdom especially.

That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[News] New "Hype trailer" for Summer Game Fest goes live

Summer Game Fest gets new video source : twitter.com/summergamefest Summer Game Fest hosted by Geoff Keighley will be live this Thursday, June 8th as announced a few days ago. The event will be streamed everywhere @  3pm ET / Noon PT / 9pm CEST.  Currently, other than a showing for the recently revealed Mortal Kombat remake, there are no details as to what to expect from the show. However, in a follow up tweet to the video post, Geoff states we will find out soon. In that same reply he also says what you see in the video is not indicative of what we will or won't see. So it serves as just a little mind refresher for some of the new games this year. Link to the video can be found here  SGF video I will be watching this event, but I will have my expectations set very low. Previous summer game fests have not been that interesting so I expect this one to follow suit. Though, with E3 not being a thing anymore offici...

[News] Another game comes to Nintendo Switch Online!

Another game is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members   source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  another game is coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 1 GBA game. The GBA game included in this update is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so if you have it you can enjoy this game. This game will be available from August 9th. For more information on the game click this link: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team I haven't played Red Rescue Team, but I have played Blue Rescue Team and loved it. They are essentially the same game just Blue Rescue Team was on the DS. Both aren't coming together as we sadly don't have a DS app. I hope people who have the expansion take the time to try this, as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, while a bit repetitive in gameplay, bring a lot more interesting narratives than mainline Pokemon games.   That's it f...

[News] Grand Festival Announced! (Splatoon 3)

Nintendo has just announced the last? Splatfest! source:  x.com/NintendoAUNZ Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the last? Splatfest for Splatoon 3. It is a very special Splatfest with it being called the "Grand festival". For this, it seems all three idol groups are against each other taking one option each. The question being asked for this is "Which is the most important to you?". The three options are past (Squid Sisters), present (Off the Hook), or future (Deep Cut). The Splatfest will be available for 72 hours rather than the usual 48. It will start  Friday the 13th of September @ 01:00 am until Monday the 16th of September @ 00:59 am .  We don't know much about the fest itself but it's safe to assume it will have all the same things as a special Splatfest and more. In the trailer, we do get to see the three idol groups in special costumes, as well as hear a new collab song between the three idol groups. However, that's pre...
