[News] Two More Titles Are Being Added To Nintendo Switch Online


Two requested games are finally coming

Over on Twitter, Nintendo have announced that two more games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. Both of these games are from the GBA and thus will be accessible on the GBA app. These games being Golden Sun and Golden Sun The Lost Age. Since these are on the GBA app you will need the expansion tier to play them. The update with these games will go live next week (17th Jan 2024).

I have played both these games myself and I think they are pretty good even with their flaws. The Lost Age is slightly better in my opinion but both games are very charming and unique. I normally don't like turn based rpgs too much but these were just that fun. The djinn system made battles more interesting and the animations for a GBA game are absolutely amazing. As these are rpg games they are a time investment but I for any rpg fan it's definitely worth it. These games also had a cool little thing about them, where you could transfer your data from the first game to the second via a password. There are three types of passwords each getting longer for the more you carry over. This is a great way to boost your party for the second game and feels very rewarding. It is cool both of these games are finally on the GBA app though, I hope more people get to play them now.

[Thoughts] Will Tears of the Kingdom have DLC?

  DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. Breath of the Wild had an expansion pass with 3 waves of content. Looking at the contents of that could give us an idea about what a Tears of the Kingdom expansion pass could look like. The first wave (Expansion pass purchase bonus) was available at the games launch and included the following: - 3 new treasure chests This was a very small wave featuring 3 chests of goodies. The biggest thing from this was a Nintendo Switch shirt link could wear. It was a nice little extra to start the game off with but definitely not the defining content of the pass. Moving on, The second wave (DLC pack 1) offered a lot more in terms of content, with it offering these following things: - Trail of the Sword - Master mode - Heroes path mode.  This wave offered many things to test the players skill...
