[News] F-Zero 99 Gets Another Update!

Over on Twitter, Nintendo have made a post telling us about this new update and what it will feature. We knew we had gotten the last of the courses but they did say more was coming to the game. I thought it was going to be a bit longer before we saw what this meant but now we know. The things that will be added are a classic race mode and lucky rank rewards. We are unsure of what exactly the two things mentioned mean but they sound like they could be a nice little addition to the game. The update will be arriving tomorrow November 29th so we will know for sure soon.

If I had to guess what both mean, then maybe you could be able to play the game in the originals visuals for the "classic race mode" and get some more customisation things through the lucky rank rewards. Though the "classic race mode" could also be a single player mode against CPUs but I heavily doubt that. I will be checking this out depending on how substantial this update is, I don't think it will be that big in the grand scheme of things. It's nice this game is still getting updated, though I have seen player numbers severely fall off recently.

  DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. Breath of the Wild had an expansion pass with 3 waves of content. Looking at the contents of that could give us an idea about what a Tears of the Kingdom expansion pass could look like. Fully Charged: Clair Obscur Expedition 33, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, Shantae and the Seven Sirens, Mario Kart World

Start of a new series! Fully Charged is a series in which I go over games I have recently played. Each instalment will release when I have played 2-4 games, updates or demos. With less time for this blog now, I won't be doing many, if any, full reviews. This series will instead cover the games I have played critically, in a mini-review format. I want to start off by saying I quite like this game, it feels quite different from 8 in a good way. One of the biggest things I like about the games feel, is the control. Vehicles in this game do not feel as stiff. How could I not mention the wall driving and rail grinding too, those add a lot more depth to tracks and are very fun to do. [Thoughts] Post Game Content Is Awesome!

Post game content is something I greatly  appreciate in games ~Intro ~ Many games over the years have included post game content, it's a way to give more content to players who really enjoyed their time with the main game and were left wanting a little more. Sometimes it is in the form of a few bonus missions, while other times epilogue stories can happen. I will now give some examples of good post game content and discuss what makes them good. ~Dark  Chronicle~ The post game for this game is quite big. After the main story you follow the main character on another small adventure to a place called the Zelmite Mine. This mysterious mine is huge, forming the biggest dungeon in the game by quite a bit. This Dungeon even has multiple mini bosses, one of which being fairly important to the narrative. While the dungeon does require a little bit of grinding to be able to get through it, it isn't too bad and I never found myself having...
