[News] Chill Season 2023 Is Inkoming!

 

The Latest Splatoon 3 season is coming soon

Nintendo has just uploaded a new video, on YouTube, showcasing what's in store for the latest seasonal update. This season, that starts December 1st, seems to be jam packed with content just like the previous ones. This video is quite different to the other videos before it with it being very stylised and less focused on giving direct information. Due to this, we don't know everything that will be in this update exactly. I will give my best guess as to what is in the update based on what we see.

Here is what we can expect from the update:

- 2 Stages (Robo ROM-en & Bluefin Depot)

- At Least 8 Additional Weapon Kits 

- New Special Weapon (Splattercolor screen)

- New Boss Salmonid

- New Table turf Cards (not seen but safely assumed) 

- New locker items (Don't think we see any but safely assumed)

- New Gear Pieces 

- New Challenges (Not seen but can be assumed)

- New Music (The music we hear in the trailer plus more?)

As well as this, over on Twitter Nintendo has announced an update dropping today for the deep cut amiibo data. This update will also add the tournament manager feature that has been in the works for some time now according to data miners. This feature assists the creation of tournaments by automatically generating things like rooms for people to join. With the announcement of a new boss salmonid, a Big Run Event is likely to follow soon after, there has been no official announcement for it yet though. However, we do know the stage for the next Big Run will be Barnacle & Dime.

[News] Another game comes to Nintendo Switch Online!

Another game is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members   source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  another game is coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 1 GBA game. The GBA game included in this update is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so if you have it you can enjoy this game. This game will be available from August 9th. For more information on the game click this link: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team I haven't played Red Rescue Team, but I have played Blue Rescue Team and loved it. They are essentially the same game just Blue Rescue Team was on the DS. Both aren't coming together as we sadly don't have a DS app. I hope people who have the expansion take the time to try this, as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, while a bit repetitive in gameplay, bring a lot more interesting narratives than mainline Pokemon games.   That's it f...

[News] Grand Festival Announced! (Splatoon 3)

Nintendo has just announced the last? Splatfest! source:  x.com/NintendoAUNZ Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the last? Splatfest for Splatoon 3. It is a very special Splatfest with it being called the "Grand festival". For this, it seems all three idol groups are against each other taking one option each. The question being asked for this is "Which is the most important to you?". The three options are past (Squid Sisters), present (Off the Hook), or future (Deep Cut). The Splatfest will be available for 72 hours rather than the usual 48. It will start  Friday the 13th of September @ 01:00 am until Monday the 16th of September @ 00:59 am .  We don't know much about the fest itself but it's safe to assume it will have all the same things as a special Splatfest and more.
