We will be getting a Zelda movie in the form of live action

Over on Twitter, Nintendo's Miyamoto has announced that Zelda will be receiving a live action movie. According to Miyamoto, this movie has been in the works for many years now, though this doesn't really give us a hint to when it will release. As of now there is no release date which makes sense as we haven't even gotten a trailer yet. Miyamoto says himself it will "take some time" so we could be looking at a late 2024 release at the earliest. The movie is being produced by not only Miyamoto but also Avi Arad (Spider-Man movies). While the Director for this movie is Wes Ball (Maze Runner movies).
Miyamoto states that Nintendo itself are heavily involved with this movie which gives me some hope it will be good. Knowing this I am cautiously optimistic for this movie but the fact it is live action is a bit disappointing for me personally. Here's to hoping they can pull it off, though an animated movie would have been so much cooler for Zelda, especially if it looked like the Link's Awakening opening.
That's it for this blog, stay connected!
