[News] Some New Footage Of Tears Of The Kingdom Arrives!

Three commercials for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have been uploaded to various Nintendo Youtube channels

This first commercial, mostly contains shots we have seen in the recent trailer. There is one new shot were you can see Link jump off a mountain and use his paraglider. This shot gives a good look at one of the weird markings on the ground. This one of which seems to resemble a molduga, a previous enemy from Breath of the Wild.

This next commercial, doesn't seem to contain any new shots and then right at the end they sneak one in. The shot shows Link standing on some type of structure in the sky islands. This shot gives you a good look at the big building we have seen many times before. We hadn't seen it in as a good a view before.

This last commercial is a goldmine of new shots. Firstly, you get to see more of one of the cutscenes shown off in the latest trailer where Zelda calls out to link. The extended clip shows a better look at the master sword she is holding. From what I can tell it seems to be the destroyed master sword, what this implies I am not sure. Then we see a shot were Link jumps of the bird glider we have seen many times before in trailers. The glider seems to be very useful in letting you survey the land and jump off to the surface when you see something of interest. A new shot of the Gerudo desert is then shown. This shows link walking along a mountain close to the seven heroine statues. One of the new towers can be seen in the distance. To end off, we see a shot that mirrors one from the Breath of the Wild January 2017 trailer quite literally. You can see link atop Epona riding across the coastline. Though while it's a new shot, there isn't anything to discuss with it.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will launch very soon on the 12th May. These commercials only added to the hype I have for this game. I eagerly await it!

That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[News] New "Hype trailer" for Summer Game Fest goes live

Summer Game Fest gets new video source : twitter.com/summergamefest Summer Game Fest hosted by Geoff Keighley will be live this Thursday, June 8th as announced a few days ago. The event will be streamed everywhere @  3pm ET / Noon PT / 9pm CEST.  Currently, other than a showing for the recently revealed Mortal Kombat remake, there are no details as to what to expect from the show. However, in a follow up tweet to the video post, Geoff states we will find out soon. In that same reply he also says what you see in the video is not indicative of what we will or won't see. So it serves as just a little mind refresher for some of the new games this year. Link to the video can be found here  SGF video I will be watching this event, but I will have my expectations set very low. Previous summer game fests have not been that interesting so I expect this one to follow suit. Though, with E3 not being a thing anymore offici...

[News] Another game comes to Nintendo Switch Online!

Another game is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members   source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  another game is coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 1 GBA game. The GBA game included in this update is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so if you have it you can enjoy this game. This game will be available from August 9th. For more information on the game click this link: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team I haven't played Red Rescue Team, but I have played Blue Rescue Team and loved it. They are essentially the same game just Blue Rescue Team was on the DS. Both aren't coming together as we sadly don't have a DS app. I hope people who have the expansion take the time to try this, as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, while a bit repetitive in gameplay, bring a lot more interesting narratives than mainline Pokemon games.   That's it f...

Fully Charged: Clair Obscur Expedition 33, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, Shantae and the Seven Sirens, Mario Kart World

Start of a new series! Fully Charged is a series in which I go over games I have recently played. Each instalment will release when I have played 2-4 games, updates or demos. With less time for this blog now, I won't be doing many, if any, full reviews. This series will instead cover the games I have played critically, in a mini-review format. Mario Kart World https://store.nintendo.co.uk This is the game everyone has been playing recently if they got a Switch 2. I want to start off by saying I quite like this game, it feels quite different from 8 in a good way. One of the biggest things I like about the games feel, is the control. Vehicles in this game do not feel as stiff. How could I not mention the wall driving and rail grinding too, those add a lot more depth to tracks and are very fun to do. The new knockout tour is a great addition to the series, I find myself playing these just as much as grand prix's. Free roam is quite fun, there are some cool challenges to do within ...
