The latest seasonal update is coming to Splatoon 3 soon

Nintendo has just uploaded a new video, on YouTube, showcasing what's in store for the latest seasonal update. This season, that starts September 1st, is jam packed with content just like the previous ones. The video gives us a lot of the information we need to know about this upcoming update and it's contents.

Here is what has been revealed for this update:

- 2 NEW Stages

- 2 NEW Main Weapons

- 8 Additional Weapon Kits 

- Returning Salmon Run Stage (Salmonid Smokeyard)

- New Salmon Run Work Suits

- 12 NEW Table turf Cards 

- Adjust Gear Feature

- New Gear Pieces 

- 3 New Challenges

- New Music

As well as this, over on Twitter Nintendo has revealed news about upcoming events in September. We will be getting a Big Run and a Splatfest in the same month for the first time. This makes sense as it is basically the one year anniversary month so they want a lot of events to celebrate this. Details for both have been shared too. The Big Run will take place @ 1am September 2nd - 1 am September 4th (BST). The stage has also been revealed for this Big Run, with it being Um'ami Ruins. As for the Splatfest, the theme for this one is, which should be the leader of Deep Cut. So it's Shiver vs Frye vs Big Man. This Splatfest will take place @ 1am September 9th - 1am September 11th (BST).

[News] Another game comes to Nintendo Switch Online!

Another game is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members   source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  another game is coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 1 GBA game. The GBA game included in this update is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so if you have it you can enjoy this game. This game will be available from August 9th. For more information on the game click this link: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team I haven't played Red Rescue Team, but I have played Blue Rescue Team and loved it. They are essentially the same game just Blue Rescue Team was on the DS. Both aren't coming together as we sadly don't have a DS app. I hope people who have the expansion take the time to try this, as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, while a bit repetitive in gameplay, bring a lot more interesting narratives than mainline Pokemon games.   That's it f...

[News] Grand Festival Announced! (Splatoon 3)

Nintendo has just announced the last? Splatfest! source:  x.com/NintendoAUNZ Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the last? Splatfest for Splatoon 3. It is a very special Splatfest with it being called the "Grand festival". For this, it seems all three idol groups are against each other taking one option each. The question being asked for this is "Which is the most important to you?". The three options are past (Squid Sisters), present (Off the Hook), or future (Deep Cut). The Splatfest will be available for 72 hours rather than the usual 48. It will start  Friday the 13th of September @ 01:00 am until Monday the 16th of September @ 00:59 am .  We don't know much about the fest itself but it's safe to assume it will have all the same things as a special Splatfest and more.
