[News] Latest Splatfest Announced (Spring Fest)


Nintendo have just announced the latest Splatfest!

Over on twitter, Nintendo has just posted the details of the next Splatfest for Splatoon 3. This Splatfest is a special Splatfest for spring, titled Spring Fest. This time there isn't really a question being asked directly, but it's about fuzzy animals. So the way people will take it is most likely which your favourite one is out the three. The three options being, Baby chicks (Shiver), Li'l bunnies (Frye) or Bear cubs (Big man). The Splatfest will be available from Saturday the 20th of April @ 1 am until Monday the 22nd of April @ 12:59 am. 

This Splatfest, with it being a special one, has a few extra things to it as well. This includes, Inkopolis Plaza, Splatsville and Inkopolis Square being appropriately decorated, Deep cut, the Squid Sisters and Off The Hook having special outfits and special Holiday themed gear being made available for players to wear. The gear is actually available now, through the Nintendo switch news channel, so head on over and grab that spring gear for yourself ahead of the Splatfest.

This is nice little theme for Spring Fest. There isn't really a correct answer here again so there won't be a landslide vote. I really don't know which I think will receive the most votes here. Though bunnies do have the strongest connection to spring so maybe that could come out on top. I think I may personally choose chicks but I am not sure yet.

[Thoughts] Will Tears of the Kingdom have DLC?

  DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. Breath of the Wild had an expansion pass with 3 waves of content. Looking at the contents of that could give us an idea about what a Tears of the Kingdom expansion pass could look like. The first wave (Expansion pass purchase bonus) was available at the games launch and included the following: - 3 new treasure chests This was a very small wave featuring 3 chests of goodies. The biggest thing from this was a Nintendo Switch shirt link could wear. It was a nice little extra to start the game off with but definitely not the defining content of the pass. Moving on, The second wave (DLC pack 1) offered a lot more in terms of content, with it offering these following things: - Trail of the Sword - Master mode - Heroes path mode.  This wave offered many things to test the players skill...
