The environments of Monkey Ball have always been a standout thing for me source: www.youtube.com/@xbox With a new monkey ball game coming out really soon, I wanted to talk more about something that I really liked about the series, the environments. With how the gameplay looks of the new one, it seems like we will be getting some more fun and unique environments. As stated in the previous part, when i was younger I didn't appreciate the  environments  of monkey ball stages much, but as I have grown older I have been able to recognise how interesting and cool they are. In this blog I am going to highlight some of the  environments  I find to be the most interesting in the series. I will be picking 2  environments  from each game I have played. Nintendo has just announced the latest Splatfest!    source:  twitter.com/NintendoUK Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the next Splatfest for Splatoon 3. This Splatfest is a special Splatfest for summer, titled Summer Nights. This time the question being asked is where would you reserve for a day. The three options being, palace (Shiver), theme park (Frye), or beach (Big man). The Splatfest will be available from  Saturday the 13th of July @ 01:00 am until Monday the 15th of July @ 00:59 am .  This Splatfest, with it being a special one, has a few extra things to it as well. This includes, Inkopolis Plaza, Splatsville and Inkopolis Square being appropriately decorated, Deep cut, the Squid Sisters and Off The Hook having special outfits and special Holiday themed gear being made available for players to wear. Nintendo has just let us know a new direct will be dropping very soon! source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on Twitter, Nintendo has just made a post informing us there is going to be a new Nintendo Direct. It will be airing  June 18th @ 3pm BST . Nintendo has stated that this direct will be  40 minutes long with a focus on games coming in the second half of 2024 . Nintendo has also stated the Nintendo Switch successor will not be at the show. You will be able to watch this direct, as always, on Nintendo's selection of official YouTube channels. With the direct being 40 minutes long we can expect a decent amount of games and updates being shown. This year has been somewhat dry in terms of big new releases so I am excited to see what will be at this show. Whatever they show here will most likely be some of the last titles coming to the switch. Discord for PS5 gets an update Source:  x.com/PlayStation Over on X (Twitter), PlayStation has just announced a new update for Discord on PS5. This update will allow you to  join Discord voice chats directly from your PS5 console. There is no set time for this update, but PlayStation has said you can expect it over the coming weeks. The update will also come to different countries at different times starting with Japan/Asia. This is a cool update to Discord on PS5. I currently don't have it downloaded but with this update, I may download it and use it on my PS5. Some people in the tweet's comments also pointed out that we should get a direct streaming option added. This would take the app to the next level on the PS5. Defend against the salmonids latest attack!  source :  twitter.com/NintendoUK The latest Big Run event is now upon us. This time it is the special Big Big Run. For this event the Salmonids have invaded all of the previous Big Run sites, so the stage will be random. The new triumvirate wave can be encountered too during this event allowing you to fight three bosses at once. This invasion will take place from today, the 8th of June @ 1am, till the 10th of June @ 1am . The reward this time is a trophy of the salmon run floatie. As usual there is a green trophy for participation with the chance to earn a bronze, silver or gold one too depending on your score. The amount you need to get gold is 135+, while silver is 110+ and bronze is 85+. As always, Big Run is a good way to earn scales to spend in the shop.  A lot of new stuff just got added to the Grizzco exchange shop with the recent seasonal update as well. You will get 3 times the number of scales from one of the new triumvirate waves.

More games are now available for Nintendo Switch Online owners   source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo have announced that  five more games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. The games are all from the Mega Man series on the Gameboy. Since these games are Gameboy games, you do not need to have the Nintendo Online Expansion Pack. The specific Mega Man games included in this update are Mega Man: Dr Wily's Revenge, Mega Man II, Mega Man III, Mega Man IV and Mega Man V. The games are available as of this post. I don't think we have gotten this many games before so that is cool. I will most likely be checking some of them out, though there are better ways to play these games for sure. Stellar blade sure has some stellar outfits! Stellar blade has so much choice for outfits and they are all pretty cool. I constantly found myself changing outfits in Stellar Blade throughout my story playthrough. However, today I want to count down my top 5 outfits in the game. I will not be including the ones released as DLC in this, it's purely what was in the game on day 1. I will be showing both versions of each type as well, and stating which I prefer out the two (If it has two versions). 5. Junk Mechanic/Junk Engineer source: www.youtube.com/@IGN To start with, this is my fifth favourite outfit type for EVE. This is probably the most complex and weird design of the bunch. This spot was very close between this and another but funky design of this one just edged it out. Some of the features I like of this one are the asymmetrical nature and the belt pack.
