[News] Latest Splatfest Announced! (Summer Nights)


Nintendo has just announced the latest Splatfest!

Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the next Splatfest for Splatoon 3. This Splatfest is a special Splatfest for summer, titled Summer Nights. This time the question being asked is where would you reserve for a day. The three options being, palace (Shiver), theme park (Frye), or beach (Big man). The Splatfest will be available from Saturday the 13th of July @ 01:00 am until Monday the 15th of July @ 00:59 am. 

This Splatfest, with it being a special one, has a few extra things to it as well. This includes, Inkopolis Plaza, Splatsville and Inkopolis Square being appropriately decorated, Deep cut, the Squid Sisters and Off The Hook having special outfits and special Holiday themed gear being made available for players to wear. The gear is not available yet but should be coming very soon to the Nintendo switch news app.

This is an appropriate theme for Summer Nights. The option for a palace is a little odd though, it's not really a place you would visit during the summer specifically. Anyway, this is another one based on people's preferences, so there isn't a clear winner here. However, I feel like the beach will be the most popular as it is extremely associated with summer, so I think many will pick it. I may personally choose theme park, but I haven't decided yet.

  DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. [Thoughts] Nintendo Direct 14/09/23

[Thoughts] Post Game Content Is Awesome!

Post game content is something I greatly  appreciate in games ~Intro ~ Many games over the years have included post game content, it's a way to give more content to players who really enjoyed their time with the main game and were left wanting a little more. Sometimes it is in the form of a few bonus missions, while other times epilogue stories can happen. I will now give some examples of good post game content and discuss what makes them good. ~Dark  Chronicle~ The post game for this game is quite big. After the main story you follow the main character on another small adventure to a place called the Zelmite Mine. This mysterious mine is huge, forming the biggest dungeon in the game by quite a bit. This Dungeon even has multiple mini bosses, one of which being fairly important to the narrative. While the dungeon does require a little bit of grinding to be able to get through it, it isn't too bad and I never found myself having...
