[News] Splatfest Now On! - Summer Nights (Splatoon 3)

Another Splatfest is upon us. This Special Splatfest, about which place you would reserve for a day, was first announced on June 21st on X (Twitter). As a reminder, the choices for this Splatfest are, palace (Shiver), theme park (Frye) and beach (Big Man). As usual, this event runs for two full days (July 13th @ 00:00 - July 15th @ 00:59), with the tri-colour battles starting on the second day.

The tri-color stage this time is Hagglefish Market. The layout for it is quite a change from the other versions. It seems to me like it will be defender-favored but I could be wrong. I do think it generally looks like it will be a good stage though. Though we'll see how good it is when we can start playing on it.

From looking at polls on X (Twitter) and YouTube, theme park seems to be getting the most votes. I thought the beach was going to be the most popular due to its association with summer, but the question itself isn't about summer or warm weather, it's just which one you would reserve. Theme parks offer so much more variety than the other two, so I should have seen it coming really. However, the polls I see don't always reflect the voting in-game, so beach still could get the most.

Make sure to use your conch shells before the Splatfest ends and scrub your Splatfest t-shirt every now and then for those sweet ability chunks! Happy splatting!

Start of a new series! Fully Charged is a series in which I go over games I have recently played. Each instalment will release when I have played 2-4 games, updates or demos. With less time for this blog now, I won't be doing many, if any, full reviews. This series will instead cover the games I have played critically, in a mini-review format. I want to start off by saying I quite like this game, it feels quite different from 8 in a good way. One of the biggest things I like about the games feel, is the control. Vehicles in this game do not feel as stiff. How could I not mention the wall driving and rail grinding too, those add a lot more depth to tracks and are very fun to do. [News] Another game comes to Nintendo Switch Online!

Another game is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members   source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  another game is coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 1 GBA game. The GBA game included in this update is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so if you have it you can enjoy this game. This game will be available from August 9th. For more information on the game click this link: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team I haven't played Red Rescue Team, but I have played Blue Rescue Team and loved it. They are essentially the same game just Blue Rescue Team was on the DS. Both aren't coming together as we sadly don't have a DS app. I hope people who have the expansion take the time to try this, as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, while a bit repetitive in gameplay, bring a lot more interesting narratives than mainline Pokemon games.   That's it f...
