[News] A New Trailer For The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Is Out!

A big trailer has just shown off even more cool stuff for this game x.com/NintendoUK Over on YouTube, Nintendo has just uploaded a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. This lengthy 5-minute trailer shows a bunch more stuff you can expect from the game. If you want to see this trailer in its entirety you can do so here . Key Takeaways: Still World source: www.youtube.com/@NintendoAmerica This world is now known to be much larger than we initially thought. You will have to traverse it using the different echoes you find. Dungeons are also confirmed to be located here. Swordfighter Form source: www.youtube.com/@NintendoAmerica This form lets you turn into a sword wielder akin to Link. You must think wisely about using it, as it is temporary. You can collect energy to refill the meter though. This energy is only found in the still world. Automatons source: www.youtube.com/@NintendoAmerica These can be made by Dampe. Automatons are stronger versions of echoes however, they

[News] Double Directs!

Time for some more reveals! source:  x.com/NintendoUK Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo have just announced that there will be not one, but two directs tomorrow. These directs are an indie world and a partner showcase. The total run time is 40 minutes and the presentations will run consecutively. This double direct will start at 3pm with the indie world. As always Nintendo states there will be no mention of the switch successor here. This is pretty cool to see, and I believe it's the first time they have done this. I typically don't always watch the indie directs but pairing a partner showcase and an indie direct together is a great idea as people will already be there for the partner showcase. This could really help indies with visibility for sure. I don't really have any expectations for it, so anything will be interesting to see. There can be some cool things shown off here though. Last partner direct we got Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble and Shin Megami Tensei 5: V

[News] Shadow x Sonic Generations Gets New Trailer!

Time to see what Shadow can do! source:  www.youtube.com/@SonictheHedgehog Over on Youtube, Sonic The Hedgehog's official YouTube channel has just uploaded a new trailer for Shadow x Sonic Generations. This trailer shows off Shadow's new abilities in this game and some new locations and bosses you will encounter. There is a lot that they put in this small trailer so if you would like to see it all for yourself you can do so here . My hype level was already pretty decent for this game but this trailer boosted it further. The wing ability in particular looks like it will be so much fun. There seems to be so much more to this game than I thought initially, with the new stages and bosses seen in this trailer. We even saw Sonic Frontiers locations which is super cool. The remix of "Supporting Me" is also so good, I loved that track but I think it's even better with this new remix. I wonder what else we will see before release, personally, I am fine with not seeing much

[News] Nintendo Museum Direct Announced!

We'll soon get to see a sneak peek of the museum source:  x.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just told us to expect a new direct today at 23:00 (UK time). This direct will be all about their museum, scheduled to open in autumn of 2024 in Kyoto, Japan. Nintendo has stated this direct will be around 10 minutes in length. Underneath their initial tweet, Nintendo has put a disclaimer to not expect any games or any news regarding the Nintendo Switch successor. You can Watch the direct here . This is a pretty cool announcement, it will be interesting to see what Nintendo puts in the museum. I don't think they will reveal everything about the museum as they will want some element of surprise I assume. I think there may be some type of interactive element like at Super Nintendo World with the wristbands, though I am not sure what that would look like for this. I hope they include even the most obscure things in this, will really make it special if they do. That sai

[News] Splatfest Now On! (Splatoon 3)

Pick a team and splat it out! Source: twitter.com/SplatoonNA Another Splatfest is upon us. This Splatfest, about which food you could eat every day, was first announced on July 17th on X (Twitter). As a reminder, the choices for this Splatfest are, bread (Shiver), rice (Frye) and pasta (Big Man). As usual, this event runs for two full days ( Saturday the 10th of August @ 01:00 am until Monday the 12th of August @ 00:59 am ), with the tri-color battles starting on the second day. source: twitter.com/OatmealDome The tri-color stage this time is Eeltail Alley. We have had this stage as a tri-color map before, however, this time it has additional gushers. With this addition, I think it will be quite a decent map, before it wasn't too great though. We'll see just how much it changes the map in due time. From looking at polls on X (Twitter) and YouTube, team rice seems to be getting the most votes overall . I do expect this team to win for popularity due to it being such a popular th

[News] The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Gets A New Trailer!

Nintendo has just posted a surprise new video for the latest Zelda game source: www.youtube.com/@NintendoUK Over on YouTube, Nintendo's official channels have just uploaded a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. In this video we can see a lot more information about the game. It covers some locations, new powers and ways of getting around in the game. If you would like to see this video you can click here . I did not expect a video to be published today for the latest Zelda game, but we are just over a month away, so it makes sense. There are so many cool things we can see in this video, that give us more of a taste of what is to come.  source: www.youtube.com/@NintendoUK We did know a decent amount about the environments but seeing the Gorons was a very welcome surprise. Death Mountian/Eldin was a known location but there was no confirmation of what or if anything lived there. They look so cute in this art style.  source: www.youtube.com/@NintendoUK Speaking of cu

[News] Another game comes to Nintendo Switch Online!

Another game is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members   source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  another game is coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 1 GBA game. The GBA game included in this update is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so if you have it you can enjoy this game. This game will be available from August 9th. For more information on the game click this link: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team I haven't played Red Rescue Team, but I have played Blue Rescue Team and loved it. They are essentially the same game just Blue Rescue Team was on the DS. Both aren't coming together as we sadly don't have a DS app. I hope people who have the expansion take the time to try this, as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, while a bit repetitive in gameplay, bring a lot more interesting narratives than mainline Pokemon games.   That's it for this
