  Sony have just announced a new showcase! source:  x.com/PlayStationUK Over on X (Twitter), PlayStation's official account have just announced a new state of play is coming tomorrow, September 24th . This state of play starts @11pm BST . The length is unknown, instead we know there will be roughly 20 titles shown there .  There are quite a few games we could see here such as upcoming games like Silent Hill 2, Lego Horizon Adventures, Metaphor: ReFantazio and Assassin's Creed Shadows. Though we may also see games that are coming in the more distant furture such as Wolverine, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Borderlands 4 and Death Stranding 2 to name some. Lots of these will also most likely be shown on the new PS5 hardware to really impress people. As for what I want to see, I would love for some new Resident Evil news or Ratchet & Clank news though I really don't expect anything for the latter. The latest Sonic news is coming!  source: x.com/sonic_hedgehog Tomorrow (September 24th)  we will be getting some new Sonic news in the form of a Sonic Central. I think it's been over a year since the last one of these so this is cool to see again. The tweet states that we can expect sneak peaks at projects, partnerships and events for 2025. The time it will air is  @5pm BST . It will be live on both  YouTube and Twitch  on the official channel for Sonic The Hedgehog. There is no duration stated for this presentation, though they are typically around 10 minutes.  As for what we could see, since it's for 2025, other than mobile game updates I am really not sure.  I am looking forward to seeing what comes from this event. Personally, I would love to see adventure remakes or information for the next main Sonic game. We'll just have to wait and see what is shown. That's it for this blog, stay connected!

More games are now available for Nintendo Switch Online members source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  four more games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 3 SNES games. The SNES games included in this update are Battletoads Double Dragon,  Cosmo Gang The Puzzle, Big Run and Kunio-kun no Dodgeball da yo Zen'in Shūgō! The SNES app does not require the expansion pass tier so anyone member type can enjoy these. These games are available as of this post. I never knew there was a crossover game between Double Dragon and Battletoads before, that's interesting. Now, I most likely don't have any of these myself due to the pricing for them, but I can still see them very well online through photos/videos. This Splatfest, about which time peroid is the most important to you, was first announced on July 19th on X (Twitter). As a reminder, the choices for this Splatfest are, Past (Squid Sisters), Present (Off The Hook) and Future (Deep Cut). This Splatfest will run for 3 whole days not just the standard two ( Friday the 13th of September @ 01:00 am until Monday the 16th of September @ 00:59 am ). Is it time for the PlayStation 5 Pro to be revealed? source:  https://x.com/PlayStation Over on X (Twitter), PlayStation has just made a post stating there will be a new presentation tomorrow. Other than it being dubbed a "Technical presentation" we are not sure what it will entail. However, there is speculation that it is the PlayStation 5 Pro's reveal. The other things we do know though are that it will be 9 minutes long and air @ 4:00pm BST. Mark Cerny will be hosting this presentation as well. If this is the PlayStation 5 Pro reveal, I am interested to see how it will compare to the base version, not just spec-wise, but in its form and features. I am not sure what else it could be but there is always the chance it could be something else entirely. I will be tuning in either way as it's a short presentation anyway. Defend against the Salmonids latest attack!  source :  twitter.com/NintendoUK The latest Big Run event is now upon us. This time it is the special Big Run that is part of the Grand Fest. For this event, the Salmonids have invaded the Grand Fest Bowl, which is a new stage made for the Grand Fest. This invasion will take place from today, the  7th of September @ 1 am, till the 9th of September @  00:59 am .  The reward this time is a trophy of the Grizz Co radio. As usual, there is a green trophy for participation with the chance to earn a bronze, silver or gold one too depending on your score. The amount you need to get gold is 150+, while silver is 125+ and bronze is 100+.  There will also be a special reward given out to all players for hitting a certain global total of golden eggs (700 Million). This reward seems to be a certain amount of each scale according to @Oatmealdome on X and it can go up too with each 100 Million after 700. Special egg launchers will also be put around the
