[News] Two More Games Have Been Added To Nintendo Switch Online!

More games are now available for Nintendo Switch Online members

Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that two more games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 2 N64 games. These games are Shadowman and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. N64 games do require the expansion tier so you will need that, though you will also need to have the specific N64 mature app to play these as well, due to thier age ratings. Should you have both, you can play these games right now.

This is a nice little halloween addition to the Nintendo Switch Online line up. I havent personally played either game but have seen some gameplay from both. Shadowman is a very interesting game, I do have some interest in playing it myself one day. Turok is a well loved classic too, so you can't' go wrong playing either. Shadowman does have more of that halloween feeling to it though, so if you are looking for that I would suggest playing some shadowman.

[News] Grand Festival Announced! (Splatoon 3)

Nintendo has just announced the last? Splatfest! source: x.com/NintendoAUNZ Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the last? Splatfest for Splatoon 3. It is a very special Splatfest with it being called the "Grand festival". For this, it seems all three idol groups are against each other taking one option each. The question being asked for this is "Which is the most important to you?". The three options are past (Squid Sisters), present (Off the Hook), or future (Deep Cut). The Splatfest will be available for 72 hours rather than the usual 48. It will start Friday the 13th of September @ 01:00 am until Monday the 16th of September @ 00:59 am . We don't know much about the fest itself but it's safe to assume it will have all the same things as a special Splatfest and more. [News] New "Hype trailer" for Summer Game Fest goes live

Summer Game Fest gets new video source : twitter.com/summergamefest Summer Game Fest hosted by Geoff Keighley will be live this Thursday, June 8th as announced a few days ago. The event will be streamed everywhere @ 3pm ET / Noon PT / 9pm CEST. Currently, other than a showing for the recently revealed Mortal Kombat remake, there are no details as to what to expect from the show. However, in a follow up tweet to the video post, Geoff states we will find out soon. In that same reply he also says what you see in the video is not indicative of what we will or won't see. So it serves as just a little mind refresher for some of the new games this year. This includes 1 GBA game. The GBA game included in this update is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so if you have it you can enjoy this game. This game will be available from August 9th. For more information on the game click this link: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team I haven't played Red Rescue Team, but I have played Blue Rescue Team and loved it. They are essentially the same game just Blue Rescue Team was on the DS. Both aren't coming together as we sadly don't have a DS app. I hope people who have the expansion take the time to try this, as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, while a bit repetitive in gameplay, bring a lot more interesting narratives than mainline Pokemon games.
