[News] Ys X: Nordics Gets A Demo!


Get a taste of this upcoming game!

Over on X (Twitter), NISAmerica have just announced that you can download a demo for Ys X: Nordics. This demo is available right now on Switch, PS4/5 and PC. The size of the demo is around 2.5 GB (PS5) and it covers the first three chapters of the game, so it's pretty hefty. Your save from this demo can be transferred to the full game when it releases too, so it is a great way to get a head start.

It's not long before this game comes out now. As a reminder, October 25th is when this game will be released worldwide. So, if the demo intrigues you, you still have time to secure a pre-order to get it on release day (in most cases). 

I am so happy we got this demo. I wasn't sure if we would actually get one but we did. I am going to be playing this a bunch myself before release. I really can't wait for this game to come out, Ys games always provide countless hours of fun in a wonderful world and I am sure this one will be the same.

  DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. Breath of the Wild had an expansion pass with 3 waves of content. Looking at the contents of that could give us an idea about what a Tears of the Kingdom expansion pass could look like. [Thoughts] Post Game Content Is Awesome!

Post game content is something I greatly  appreciate in games ~Intro ~ Many games over the years have included post game content, it's a way to give more content to players who really enjoyed their time with the main game and were left wanting a little more. Sometimes it is in the form of a few bonus missions, while other times epilogue stories can happen. I will now give some examples of good post game content and discuss what makes them good. ~Dark  Chronicle~ The post game for this game is quite big. After the main story you follow the main character on another small adventure to a place called the Zelmite Mine. This mysterious mine is huge, forming the biggest dungeon in the game by quite a bit. This Dungeon even has multiple mini bosses, one of which being fairly important to the narrative. While the dungeon does require a little bit of grinding to be able to get through it, it isn't too bad and I never found myself having...
