[News] Stellar Blade x Nier Automata Collab Event Coming Soon!

The awaited collaboration DLC is near!

source: x.com/PlayStation

Over on X (Twitter), PlayStation has just updated us about the Stellar Blade x Nier collab. The collab will be launching November 20th and will be a paid update to the game. Their is currently no price stated yet. Some other things like the highly requested photo mode, 4 more standard costumes, one more accessory and extra options are being added as well in a free update on the same day.

This will be so cool. I love it when games collaborate for fun. Stellar Blade gets compared a lot to Nier so it's really fitting. The screenshots and video shared of the update so far look fantastic too. The first thing we can see from these is that A2 and 2B are playable skins and that Emile will be appearing in the game. 2B is seen with a few skins actually so maybe A2 will get multiple too. NPC's Lily and Adam seem to have skins as well, Lily's being 9S and Adam's being an Emile head. It's said there are 11 total items from this event so it'll be nice to find the rest in the game.
We may even be getting a new area, that being, the bunker from Nier Automata as it's seen in a video. Only time will tell what we can do there though, I think it could have a new sidequest and/or a boss fight. That said, we don't know too much more about this update, but I do know I am really looking forward to it.

Check out my review of Stellar Blade here.

That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[Thoughts] Will Tears of the Kingdom have DLC?

DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. Breath of the Wild had an expansion pass with 3 waves of content. Looking at the contents of that could give us an idea about what a Tears of the Kingdom expansion pass could look like. The first wave (Expansion pass purchase bonus) was available at the games launch and included the following: - 3 new treasure chests This was a very small wave featuring 3 chests of goodies. The biggest thing from this was a Nintendo Switch shirt link could wear. It was a nice little extra to start the game off with but definitely not the defining content of the pass. Moving on, The second wave (DLC pack 1) offered a lot more in terms of content, with it offering these following things: - Trail of the Sword - Master mode - Heroes path mode.  This wave offered many things to test the players skill...

[Thoughts] Nintendo Direct 14/09/23

[Thoughts] Post Game Content Is Awesome!

Post game content is something I greatly  appreciate in games ~Intro ~ Many games over the years have included post game content, it's a way to give more content to players who really enjoyed their time with the main game and were left wanting a little more. Sometimes it is in the form of a few bonus missions, while other times epilogue stories can happen. I will now give some examples of good post game content and discuss what makes them good. ~Dark  Chronicle~ The post game for this game is quite big. After the main story you follow the main character on another small adventure to a place called the Zelmite Mine. This mysterious mine is huge, forming the biggest dungeon in the game by quite a bit. This Dungeon even has multiple mini bosses, one of which being fairly important to the narrative. While the dungeon does require a little bit of grinding to be able to get through it, it isn't too bad and I never found myself having...
