The best Game Awards ever!

source: www.youtube.com/@PlayStation

The Game Awards has offically taken place for this year, there were many reveals and showcases to go alongside the awards in the night. To see it for yourself you can watch the full thing here. However, here are some of the highlights of games and projects shown in the event:

- Okami Sequel
- Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet
- Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
- Mafia: The Old Country
- The Last of Us Part II Remastered PC
- Dying Light: The Beast
- Game of Thrones: Kingsroad
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword
- Warframe: 1999
- Turok: Origins
- Virtua Fighter
- Borderlands 4
- The Outer Worlds 2
- Untitled Project by Fumito Ueda of GenDesign
- Elden Ring: Nightreign
- The Witcher 4
- Ninja Gaiden Ragebound

This game awards really was impressive, prevouisly we would probably get 2 or 3 highlightable announcements at most but this one had a lot to offer. Geoff also seemed to care a bit more this time round probably due to the feedback given to him for last year.
Personally, I had quite a few things I was so excited about, the most excited i got in the night was for the Okami sequel, its something I thought would never actually happen. When I saw the brief trailer they showed I was teary eyed, it really meant something to me as a huge fan of the original. I really dont mind how long we have to wait for the game from this announcement we have already waited so long, whats another few years, I am just so happy its actually real. I was a fan of Team Sonic Racing and prevouis sonic racing games, so seeing a new one was a pleasant suprise for me too, I will definitely be getting that game myself, whever it launches. The untitled project from the ICO devs really intrigues me, I have played ICO and thought it was decent, the gameplay was very dated but I really liked the atomosphere and narrative there, hopefully with modern standards and such the gameplay can be there as well. Lastly, the Witcher is a series I have always been interested in and the reveal of a fourth one may be the push for me to finally play the series.

Overall, this Game Awards was wonderful and I hope furture ones are like this one. It'll be a tough one to live up to for sure, but i'm sure there is more awesome stuff coming that can appear next year.

That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[Thoughts] Will Tears of the Kingdom have DLC?

DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. Breath of the Wild had an expansion pass with 3 waves of content. Looking at the contents of that could give us an idea about what a Tears of the Kingdom expansion pass could look like. The first wave (Expansion pass purchase bonus) was available at the games launch and included the following: - 3 new treasure chests This was a very small wave featuring 3 chests of goodies. The biggest thing from this was a Nintendo Switch shirt link could wear. It was a nice little extra to start the game off with but definitely not the defining content of the pass. Moving on, The second wave (DLC pack 1) offered a lot more in terms of content, with it offering these following things: - Trail of the Sword - Master mode - Heroes path mode.  This wave offered many things to test the players skill...

[Thoughts] Post Game Content Is Awesome!

Post game content is something I greatly  appreciate in games ~Intro ~ Many games over the years have included post game content, it's a way to give more content to players who really enjoyed their time with the main game and were left wanting a little more. Sometimes it is in the form of a few bonus missions, while other times epilogue stories can happen. I will now give some examples of good post game content and discuss what makes them good. ~Dark  Chronicle~ The post game for this game is quite big. After the main story you follow the main character on another small adventure to a place called the Zelmite Mine. This mysterious mine is huge, forming the biggest dungeon in the game by quite a bit. This Dungeon even has multiple mini bosses, one of which being fairly important to the narrative. While the dungeon does require a little bit of grinding to be able to get through it, it isn't too bad and I never found myself having...
