[News] Sonic Frontiers Final Update Teased!


A new trailer was shown for this final update at Gamescom Opening Night Live

During the Gamescom show, after a new trailer for Sonic Superstars, a new trailer for Sonic Frontiers was shown. This trailer was a tease for the final free update for Sonic Frontiers. The trailer shows what seems to be an upgraded version of one of the bosses in the game, specifically supreme. We can also see that Sonic seems to get a boost during super sonic with him gaining blue eyes and a different aura. What both of these things mean, who knows. Other than that though, the trailer didn't show anything else, with no gameplay in sight.

As a reminder here is what the final free update will include:

- New Story
- New Playable Characters
- New Challenges 

At the end of the trailer we did actually get a release date for this update. The update will be going live on September 28th (possibly 29th for UK). This is quite close to the Launch of Sonic Superstars which got revealed to be coming out October 17th. With this, Sonic fans will have a lot to look forward to in the coming months for sure.

[News] Another game comes to Nintendo Switch Online!

Another game is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members   source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  another game is coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 1 GBA game. The GBA game included in this update is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so if you have it you can enjoy this game. This game will be available from August 9th. For more information on the game click this link: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team I haven't played Red Rescue Team, but I have played Blue Rescue Team and loved it. They are essentially the same game just Blue Rescue Team was on the DS. Both aren't coming together as we sadly don't have a DS app. I hope people who have the expansion take the time to try this, as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, while a bit repetitive in gameplay, bring a lot more interesting narratives than mainline Pokemon games.   That's it f...

[News] Grand Festival Announced! (Splatoon 3)

Nintendo has just announced the last? Splatfest! source:  x.com/NintendoAUNZ Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the last? Splatfest for Splatoon 3. It is a very special Splatfest with it being called the "Grand festival". For this, it seems all three idol groups are against each other taking one option each. The question being asked for this is "Which is the most important to you?". The three options are past (Squid Sisters), present (Off the Hook), or future (Deep Cut). The Splatfest will be available for 72 hours rather than the usual 48. It will start  Friday the 13th of September @ 01:00 am until Monday the 16th of September @ 00:59 am .  We don't know much about the fest itself but it's safe to assume it will have all the same things as a special Splatfest and more.
