[News] Latest Splatfest Announced! (Frosty Fest)

 

Nintendo have just announced Januarys Splatfest theme!

Over on twitter, Nintendo has just posted the details of the next splatfest for Splatoon 3. This time it is a special Holiday Splatfest titled "Frosty Fest". This one is about who you spend your holiday with. The three options being, friends (Shiver), family (Frye) or solo (Big man). This splatfest will be available from Saturday the 13th of January @ 12 pm until Monday the 15th of January @ 12 am. 

This Splatfest, with it being a special one, has a few extra things to it as well. This includes, both Inkopolis and Splatsville being spookily decorated, Deep cut and the Squid Sisters having special outfits and special Holiday themed gear being made available for players to wear. No details have been given on when these new gear pieces will be available yet though. We will find out most likely nearer the time. 

Splatoon 2 had this theme pretty much except this one has the solo option. Family won last time so I think that has a good chance again this time. There isn't really a "right choice" here though, so it can go any way. I think the least picked will be solo, though it's colour is white and many like to pick white ink teams for the colour. So in this case I suppose I am not too sure what will happen with the voting, we will see when voting polls have come out. I really can't wait for this Splatfest, I really enjoyed Splatoween and what they did with it in Splatoon 3, so this one is guaranteed to be just as good, if not better.

[News] Another game comes to Nintendo Switch Online!

Another game is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members   source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  another game is coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 1 GBA game. The GBA game included in this update is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so if you have it you can enjoy this game. This game will be available from August 9th. For more information on the game click this link: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team I haven't played Red Rescue Team, but I have played Blue Rescue Team and loved it. They are essentially the same game just Blue Rescue Team was on the DS. Both aren't coming together as we sadly don't have a DS app. I hope people who have the expansion take the time to try this, as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, while a bit repetitive in gameplay, bring a lot more interesting narratives than mainline Pokemon games.   That's it f...

[News] Grand Festival Announced! (Splatoon 3)

Nintendo has just announced the last? Splatfest! source:  x.com/NintendoAUNZ Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the last? Splatfest for Splatoon 3. It is a very special Splatfest with it being called the "Grand festival". For this, it seems all three idol groups are against each other taking one option each. The question being asked for this is "Which is the most important to you?". The three options are past (Squid Sisters), present (Off the Hook), or future (Deep Cut). The Splatfest will be available for 72 hours rather than the usual 48. It will start  Friday the 13th of September @ 01:00 am until Monday the 16th of September @ 00:59 am .  We don't know much about the fest itself but it's safe to assume it will have all the same things as a special Splatfest and more.
