[News] Sony Announces A State Of Play!

Sony have just announced a new showcase

Over on Twitter, PlayStation have just announced a new state of play is coming tomorrow, May 30th. This state of play starts @ 11pm BST. It will be roughly 30 minutes long. Sony have said we can expect to see updates on 14 PS5 and PS VR2 titles.

Other than Silent Hill 2 and a possible Wolverine, I'm not sure exactly sure what we could see here. PlayStation is quite dry on the upcoming releases so hopefully this can fix that. There have been recent rumours of a new Astrobot game and I would be very happy for that to be announced during the show. Remakes for two Resident Evil games have also been rumoured and I would equally like to see these here. I guess we will have to wait and see what PlayStation have been cooking up for us.

[News] New "Hype trailer" for Summer Game Fest goes live

Summer Game Fest gets new video source : twitter.com/summergamefest Summer Game Fest hosted by Geoff Keighley will be live this Thursday, June 8th as announced a few days ago. The event will be streamed everywhere @ 3pm ET / Noon PT / 9pm CEST. Currently, other than a showing for the recently revealed Mortal Kombat remake, there are no details as to what to expect from the show. However, in a follow up tweet to the video post, Geoff states we will find out soon. In that same reply he also says what you see in the video is not indicative of what we will or won't see. So it serves as just a little mind refresher for some of the new games this year. [News] Another game comes to Nintendo Switch Online!

Another game is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members source: twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that another game is coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 1 GBA game. The GBA game included in this update is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so if you have it you can enjoy this game. This game will be available from August 9th. They are essentially the same game just Blue Rescue Team was on the DS. Both aren't coming together as we sadly don't have a DS app. I hope people who have the expansion take the time to try this, as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, while a bit repetitive in gameplay, bring a lot more interesting narratives than mainline Pokemon games. [News] Grand Festival Announced! (Splatoon 3)

Nintendo has just announced the last? Splatfest! source: x.com/NintendoAUNZ Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the last? Splatfest for Splatoon 3. It is a very special Splatfest with it being called the "Grand festival". For this, it seems all three idol groups are against each other taking one option each. The question being asked for this is "Which is the most important to you?". The three options are past (Squid Sisters), present (Off the Hook), or future (Deep Cut). The Splatfest will be available for 72 hours rather than the usual 48. It will start Friday the 13th of September @ 01:00 am until Monday the 16th of September @ 00:59 am . We don't know much about the fest itself but it's safe to assume it will have all the same things as a special Splatfest and more.
