[Thoughts] Other Zelda LEGO Sets I Would Like To See

There are some locations I would love to see in LEGO form from Zelda With the recent announcement of the first-ever official Zelda LEGO set, I want to discuss what other sets I want to see. For this, I will state my top 5 most wanted sets. It was hard to nail it down to 5 sets, but I was able to do so. Of course, there are still many more sets I would like to see, these are just my most wanted. Since the Great Deku Tree has a variation you can build, I will also suggest one for each of my picks, if I can at least. Please note that there is also no particular order to this. 5. Lon Lon Ranch  source: zelda.fandom.com Lon Lon Ranch from Ocarina of Time is a location I definitely want to see in LEGO form, though it's probably not very likely. This set would most likely come with the fencing, horses, a small track around the fencing, and one or two buildings. The mini figures would probably be Malon and child/adult Link. This set could be a two-in-one with the Breath of The Wild ruined

[News] Grand Festival Announced! (Splatoon 3)

Nintendo has just announced the last? Splatfest! source:  x.com/NintendoAUNZ Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the last? Splatfest for Splatoon 3. It is a very special Splatfest with it being called the "Grand festival". For this, it seems all three idol groups are against each other taking one option each. The question being asked for this is "Which is the most important to you?". The three options are past (Squid Sisters), present (Off the Hook), or future (Deep Cut). The Splatfest will be available for 72 hours rather than the usual 48. It will start  Friday the 13th of September @ 01:00 am until Monday the 16th of September @ 00:59 am .  We don't know much about the fest itself but it's safe to assume it will have all the same things as a special Splatfest and more. In the trailer, we do get to see the three idol groups in special costumes, as well as hear a new collab song between the three idol groups. However, that's pre

[News] Latest Splatfest Announced! (Splatoon 3)

Nintendo has just announced the latest Splatfest!     source:  twitter.com/NintendoUK Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the next Splatfest for Splatoon 3. This time the question being asked is "which could you eat every day?". The three options being, bread (Shiver), rice (Frye), or pasta (Big man). The Splatfest will be available from  Saturday the 10th of August @ 01:00 am until Monday the 12th of August @ 00:59 am .  This is quite a basic theme based on food personal preference. Each option is a good choice really, though, I could see bread winning votes due to its versatility. I eat bread every day already in the form of sandwiches and I feel many do the same due to its quick and effortless preparation. Bread also tends to be the cheapest choice out of these as well. However, if it was just down to the actual food as the question seems to imply, I would easily choose to have rice every day as my favorite meals include rice. Because of this, I wi

[News] Splatfest Now On! - Summer Nights (Splatoon 3)

Pick a team and splat it out! Source: twitter.com/SplatoonNA Another Splatfest is upon us. This Special Splatfest, about which place you would reserve for a day, was first announced on June 21st on X (Twitter). As a reminder, the choices for this Splatfest are, palace (Shiver), theme park (Frye) and beach (Big Man). As usual, this event runs for two full days (July 13th @ 00:00 - July 15th @ 00:59), with the tri-colour battles starting on the second day. source: twitter.com/OatmealDome The tri-color stage this time is Hagglefish Market. The layout for it is quite a change from the other versions. It seems to me like it will be defender-favored but I could be wrong. I do think it generally looks like it will be a good stage though. Though we'll see how good it is when we can start playing on it. From looking at polls on X (Twitter) and YouTube, theme park seems to be getting the most votes . I thought the beach was going to be the most popular due to its association with summer, but

[News] Three More Games Have Been Added To Nintendo Switch Online!

More games are now available for Nintendo Switch Online members source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  three more games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 3 GBA games. The GBA games included in this update are all Starfy games, including Starfy 1, 2 and 3. The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so if you have it you can enjoy these. These games are available as of this post. For more information on each game click these links: Starfy 1 Starfy 2 Starfy 3 I have heard Starfy mentioned but I am not too familiar with it. It seems like a nice little game series and it's cool we got 1-3 on the GBA app, I'm sure fans will be very happy about it. I would give these a try but I don't have the expansion pack.  That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[News] New Official Nintendo Horror Game? (Emio)

Nintendo uploads a bizzare video to their official YouTube channels source:  www.youtube.com/@NintendoAmerica Over on Youtube Nintendo has just uploaded a video simply titled "Emio". The video is very brief and shows someone or something with a paper bag on their head, followed by some text at the end. While there is barely anything we can gather from this, we do also see a hastag below the video for #WhoIsEmio. This does tell us Emio is a person or some type of entity, perhaps the one seen in the video. Beyond this, thats all we know. From the vibe of it, there is a high chance for it to be a horror game from Nintendo, which is very interesting. You can view the video for yourself here . A Nintendo first party horror game will be quite a different thing for them. It certainly has my interest. I look forward to seeing more of this project. That's it for this blog, stay connected!

Ys X finally gets a solid date! source:  x.com/NISAinEurope Over on X (Twitter), NISA has just revealed the release date for Ys X:Nordics. The date Ys X will be released is October 25th. This will be a simultaneous release for PS5, PS4, Switch and PC. Alongside this information, there is a new release date trailer, you can check that out here . Pre-orders for the limited edition & merch are also now availible on  the NIS Online Stores. I am so happy we finally got a date for this game, I will be pre-ordering it asap. I was already super excited for the game but the trailer got me even more excited. The end of this year is so stacked for games, which is a big contrast to the beggining of the year. This and Zelda are my definite day 1 purchases though. That's it for this blog, stay connected!

[News] Seven More Games Have Been Added To Nintendo Switch Online!

More games are now available for Nintendo Switch Online owners  source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  seven more games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. These games are all NES games. Since these games are NES games, you do not need to have the Nintendo Online Expansion Pack. The games included are, Urban Champion, Golf, Donkey Kong Jr. Math, Match Rider, The Mystery of Atlantis, SOLAR JETMAN and COBRA TRIANGLE. The games are available as of this post. For more information on each game click these links: Urban Champion  Golf Donkey Kong Jr. Math Match Rider The Mystery of Atlantis   SOLAR JETMAN COBRA TRIANGLE As some people in the comments have pointed out, these are some of the last first-party games for NES. So this could mean we may not see many more games added to the NES app going forward. Speaking about the games themself, I don't have any interest in playing them really. I may give Match Rider a go though, at some point.

[News] New Nintendo Treehouse Edition Uploaded!

Another Treehouse event has taken place source:  x.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just announced that a new Nintendo Treehouse event has taken place. It is viewable on YouTube as of now, you can watch it here . The duration of this Treehouse is 30 minutes and it covers the upcoming NintendoWorldChampionshipNES edition.  I'm surprised they didn't show many of the other recently revealed games here, but perhaps they could have another Treehouse for those. Maybe those games just aren't quite ready yet, who knows. It would have been nice to see some of the other games though, like Mario & Luigi Brothership or The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. I have a little bit of interest in the game they have shown, so I will give it a watch still. That's it for this blog, stay connected!
