Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted that we can now view our 2024 wrap-up. Nintendo's wrap up includes lots of information you need to know about your year in gaming with Nintendo Switch. You can see a full breakdown of what games you played and how many hours you invested. Nintendo also allows you to select your own favourite game of the year at the end, adding some interactivity to it. 

This is a little later than last years year in review but its finally here. Just like the Playstation one, these things are just so cool to see. I played my Switch just as much as my Playstation this year. There has been great games come out on both consoles this year, its been quite a time to be a gamer. With the Switch 2 supposedly coming next year, maybe this'll be the last full year for Switch. I'm looking forward to what's to come in 2025 from Nintendo, 2024 was solid overall, 2025 could be even better with the launch of Switch 2. If 2025 ends up being like 2017 was for the original switch, we will need to buckle up and brace ourselves.

  DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. Breath of the Wild had an expansion pass with 3 waves of content. Looking at the contents of that could give us an idea about what a Tears of the Kingdom expansion pass could look like. The first wave (Expansion pass purchase bonus) was available at the games launch and included the following: - 3 new treasure chests This was a very small wave featuring 3 chests of goodies. The biggest thing from this was a Nintendo Switch shirt link could wear. It was a nice little extra to start the game off with but definitely not the defining content of the pass. [Thoughts] Nintendo Direct 14/09/23

A generally bland direct with a few bursts of flavour source:  www.youtube.com/@NintendoUK This direct provided updates for many upcoming games, while also giving us more information about games that are coming early next year. Other news, not about games, was present too. [Thoughts] Post Game Content Is Awesome!

Post game content is something I greatly  appreciate in games ~Intro ~ Many games over the years have included post game content, it's a way to give more content to players who really enjoyed their time with the main game and were left wanting a little more. Sometimes it is in the form of a few bonus missions, while other times epilogue stories can happen. I will now give some examples of good post game content and discuss what makes them good. ~Dark  Chronicle~ The post game for this game is quite big. After the main story you follow the main character on another small adventure to a place called the Zelmite Mine. This mysterious mine is huge, forming the biggest dungeon in the game by quite a bit. This Dungeon even has multiple mini bosses, one of which being fairly important to the narrative. While the dungeon does require a little bit of grinding to be able to get through it, it isn't too bad and I never found myself having...
