[News] Latest Splatfest Announced!


Nintendo have just announced the latest Splatfest!

Over on twitter, Nintendo has just posted the details of the next splatfest for Splatoon 3. This time it is about which instrument you would play. The three options being, Drums (Shiver), Guitar (Frye) or Piano (Big man). The Splatfest will be available from Saturday the 23rd of March @ 12 am until Sunday the 24th of March @ 11:59 pm. The Japanese Splatfest is different again this time, with it being an actual collab between a crisp company and Splatoon in Japan. The three options for Japan seem to be different flavours of said crisps.

This is an interesting theme for Splatfest. I really don't think there will be a favourite here since it's all completely subjective. People may judge what they would play on by what they actually do play, what they wish they could play or what type of music they like most. I honestly can't say which I think will receive the most votes here. All I know is I will most likely be choosing guitar, as a lot of my favourite music I listen to features it.

[Thoughts] Will Tears of the Kingdom have DLC?

  DLC for Tears of the kingdom could happen but I don't think it's likely Source: Author's edit I want to start off by saying I do not think this game needs DLC at all, though it would be welcome. Breath of the Wild had an expansion pass with 3 waves of content. Looking at the contents of that could give us an idea about what a Tears of the Kingdom expansion pass could look like. The first wave (Expansion pass purchase bonus) was available at the games launch and included the following: - 3 new treasure chests This was a very small wave featuring 3 chests of goodies. The biggest thing from this was a Nintendo Switch shirt link could wear. It was a nice little extra to start the game off with but definitely not the defining content of the pass. Moving on, The second wave (DLC pack 1) offered a lot more in terms of content, with it offering these following things: - Trail of the Sword - Master mode - Heroes path mode.  This wave offered many things to test the players skill...
