More games are now available for Nintendo Switch Online members source:  twitter.com/NintendoAmerica Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  two more games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 2 N64 games. These games are Shadowman and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.  N64 games do require the expansion tier so you will need that, though you will also need to have the specific N64 mature app to play these as well, due to their age ratings. If you have both, you can play these games right now. For more information on each game click these links: Shadowman Turok 2: Seeds of Evil This is a nice little Halloween addition to the Nintendo Switch Online lineup. I haven't personally played either game but have seen some gameplay from both. Shadowman is a very interesting game, I do have some interest in playing it myself one day. Turok is a well-loved classic too, so you can't go wrong playing either. Shadowman does have more of that Halloween feeling to it though...

This Special Halloween Splatfest, about what you would rather be in a fantasy world, was announced on October 9th. The choices for this splatfest are, wizard, knight and ninja. As usual, this event runs for two full days (26th @ 1am - 27th @ 11:59am), with the tri colour battles starting on the second day. Just like last time Nintendo have made a lot of cool little changes to for this fest to really make it feel like a Halloween one. From the idols wearing outfits to additional Halloween themed music it really is a spooktastic fest. The tri-colour stage this time is both Scorch Gorge and Mincemeat Metalworks. These are both stages we have had before but it's cool to not only see the return of the best tri-colour stage (Scorch Gorge) but also have two different maps at the same time. Mincemeat is an okay stage too but I know many will be hoping to come across Scorch Gorge more, myself incl...

Nintendo is giving us some more game trials! source:  x.com/NintendoUK Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  we are going to get 3 more game trials for Nintendo Switch Online owners. The three games that will have these are Minecraft Dungeons, A Little To The Left and Cursed to Golf. The timeframe for these games is October 23rd to October 30th . I haven't played any of these myself, but I will for sure be giving Cursed to Golf a go and maybe A Little To The Left as it seems to be a puzzle game and I like those. Minecraft Dungeons is the biggest game here and with it's short length you will most likely be able to finish it in the time which is really cool. I wonder how long we will have to wait for more game trail games and what they will be, would be cool to see a first-party title from Nintendo appear on these. Both N64 Banjo games are now back on Nintendo Hardware!   source:  gamesdb.launchbox-app.com Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  another game will come to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes one N64 game, Banjo Tooie.  The N64 app requires the expansion pass tier, so you will need that to access this game. The game will become available for pass owners on the 25th of October. For more information on each game click this link. Finally, the original banjo games come back home to a Nintendo console. I know many people have been waiting for this to happen and it's so great it has. I actually haven't played this game despite playing the first. I do not have the expansion pass tier though so I won't be able to play it this way either. I do have an interest in playing it though and will do so one day. If you enjoyed the first Banjo or just like collectathon-style games then be sure to give it a try, I've heard nothing but good things about this one....

This demo is available right now on Switch, PS4/5 and PC. The size of the demo is around 2.5 GB (PS5) and it covers the first three chapters of the game, so it's pretty hefty. Your save from this demo can be transferred to the full game when it releases too, so it is a great way to get a head start. It's not long before this game comes out now. As a reminder, October 25th is when this game will be released worldwide. So, if the demo intrigues you, you still have time to secure a pre-order to get it on release day (in most cases).  I am so happy we got this demo. I wasn't sure if we would actually get one but we did. I am going to be playing this a bunch myself before release. Nintendo has just announced the latest Splatfest  source:  twitter.com/NintendoUK Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has just posted the details of the next Splatfest for Splatoon 3 (Splatoween 2). This time the question being asked is "What would you rather be in a fantasy world". The three options are Wizard (Shiver), Knight (Frye), or Ninja (Big Man). The Special Splatfest will be available from  Saturday the 26th of October @ 01:00 am until Sunday the 27th of October @ 11:59 pm .  As a special one, this Splatfest has a few extra things to it as well. This includes, Inkopolis Plaza,  Inkopolis Square and Splatsville being spookily decorated, Deep Cut, Off the Hook and the Squid Sisters having special outfits and special Halloween-themed gear being made available for players to wear. A near-perfect blend between the old and the new  Echoes of the Wisdom came out of nowhere when it was first announced. What's even crazier is that it was stated to come not long after its suprise announcement. I was not ready for a brand new Zelda game as I thought at most we would get a remake of the Oracle games or a port of the HD games. From the first time I saw this game, I really liked what I saw. Every trailer after that got me more and more excited to finally get my hands on the game. I got this game on release (September 26th) and have been playing it since. I have now finished the main story and thus am ready to give my thoughts on it. How did it turn out in the end? Well... I'll break it down in my review below. ~ Positives ~ Great dungeons - BOTW and TOTK suffered a bit in the dungeon department due to how open they were and the options available. Even though this game still has many options the dungeons manage to work very similarly to the classic styled dungeons....

More F-Zero content comes to switch! source:  gamesdb.launchbox-app.com Over on X (Twitter), Nintendo has announced that  2 more games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. This includes 2 GBA games. The GBA games included are both F-Zero games being, F-Zero: GP Legend and F-Zero Climax.  The GBA app does require the expansion pass tier so you will to have that to enjoy these. These games are available on Ocotber 11th. For more information on each game click these links: F-Zero: GP Legend F-Zero Climax Its nice to see more F-Zero on the Switch, I really enjoyed F-Zero 99 recently, sadly I will not be able to play these on the service. Though I didnt know they even existed and am quite intrigued. So, I may look into alternate means to try them.
